This weekend we celebrate Sea Sunday, when the Church prays for all those who live and work at sea. Seafarers and fishers play a vital role in all of our lives, but they often work in difficult, hazardous conditions. This weekend’s second collection is for Stella Maris (Apostleship of the Sea), the Catholic Church’s official maritime welfare agency. It supports seafarers both practically and spiritually. Stella Maris is dependent on voluntary donations, so please give generously. To donate, please visit www.stellamaris.org.uk/donate or text ‘SEA’ to 70460 to donate £5. Thank you.

Congratulations to all the Jubilarians and especially our Father Anthony.

We had a beautifully spiritual time celebrating our Corpus Christi Mass this morning lead by our Year 3s and our first holy communion children.

As part of our celebration, we presented Father Anthony with a lovely book of love and gratitude to begin the commemorations of his 25th anniversary of priesthood.

Father Anthony plays a huge role in our school community and is present in school every week, leads us in our mass and guides the school as a member of the local governance board.

Thank you father for all you do! ❤️
