4. Jesus loves to reach whole families
5. Jesus asks silly yet penetrating questions

He is the mighty healer, He loves you, He speaks and it happens.

I am looking forward to seeing you tomorrow evening at Bethany Hall at 7.30 for our prayer meeting. We will be spending time with our heavenly Father as we look at Matthew 25:31-46 in prayer and attentiveness.

“When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, he will sit on his glorious throne. All the nations will be gathered before him,…”

Let’s gather before Him, gaze upon His glory and delight in His presence.

A voice says, “Cry out.”
And I said, “What shall I cry?”
The grass withers and the flowers fall,
but the word of our God endures forever. ”
You who bring good news to Zion,
go up on a high mountain.
You who bring good news to Jerusalem,
lift up your voice with a shout,
lift it up, do not be afraid;
say to the towns of Judah,
“Here is your God!”
Isaiah 40:6a,8-9
Once upon a time, only God’s priests and prophets would proclaim His Word, but as 1 Peter 2:5 & 9 tells us, we are now a part of God’s holy, royal priesthood. So “lift up your voice” as when the gospel is preached, people will hear Jesus. The sound over a cup of tea may be your voice, but they will hear the voice of the Good Shepherd. Jesus sends us to make disciples so that He can gather His sheep. Let us be bold in saying “Here is your God!”

Looking forward to seeing you tomorrow evening for some time with God. I encourage you to consider fasting in some way that is appropriate for you to help remind you of how much we rely upon God for all things. Let’s enjoy being in his presence, praising Him, hearing His voice and encouraging one another.

A celibate, single man was martyred on this day in 269 for speaking of the greatest love that man can know. Valentine preached the gospel to the Roman Emperor and was killed for it. In his death, he proved what was written in Paul’s letter to the Roman church:
For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For me, these are the scariest verses in the bible: Matthew 7:21-23.
“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
Let us spend time with Him this week being with Him and getting to know Him more.
The morning prayer meetings on zoom are from 8.30 - 8.50, and we gather as His church at 7.30 p.m. this Wednesday evening in Bethany Hall. Let us share with Him what is on our hearts and listen to Him as He guides us and provides for us. Be blessed…

A wonderful meeting today, but I forgot to mention that our monthly prayer meeting will be this Wednesday evening at 7.30 in Bethany Hall. Please join us as we share what we have on our hearts with our heavenly Father and seek His guidance. God bless
