Starting this Sunday we will begin a seven week series exploring holistic wellness: body, mind and spirit.

Taking a journey looking at what we mean by wellbeing, the different areas of our lives it affects, and how God can help us.

🙏 In the 10.45 service on a Sunday we like to pray.

💬 Prayer is just us talking with God about what is going on in our lives and that of our community.

🥄 To help guide us we use the TeaSPoon Prayer...

T = Thank you.

It's good to say thank you isn't it? So we say thank you to God; that might be for our homes, family, or just something good God has blessed us with.

S = Sorry.

None of us are perfect and we all get things wrong at times. So we say sorry to God for all the stuff we have got wrong and ask God to help us do better.

P = Please.

God cares for us and wants the very best for us. So we can ask God for the best things for our friends, family, and community. But we can also ask God for help in the sad situations in the world today.

😀 TeaSPoon prayers are really easy to do and you don't need to use any fancy words - just be yourself!

🙌 Last week at the 10.45 we started exploring the story of Jonah.

🐳 We finished with Jonah inside the belly of a big fish!

Hi all,

We can’t wait to see you at the 10.45 at Emmanuel Church. Over the next 4 weeks we are going to look at the story of Jonah! It will be fun with activities to help us engage with the story and help us connect with God.

👑 This morning at the 10.45 service we celebrated Epiphany and thought about how after meeting Jesus, the wise men followed a different path.

🙏🏻 We also asked God to bless our church and all who come into the building this year.
