Weybridge Methodist Church Services at 10.30 am each Sunday. Welcome to the page of Weybridge Methodist Church. It also means that the style is never exactly the same each week.

We hope that we shall also be able to welcome you to a service at 10.30 am on Sunday. Along with other Methodist churches across the UK we are part of a 'Circuit.' The leading of worship is shared between Ministers and lay people, know as Local Preachers. This gives variety to the worship as such preachers bring a wealth of different experiences to the services they lead. We try to have a time of

fellowship after every service and hope that if you can you will share something of yourself. Or just enjoy a cup of tea or coffee! You will also be welcome at our more informal evening services that take place each month. We believe that Jesus preached the Gospel - the good news of the Kingdom of God. Through Jesus' death on the cross, and his resurrection, Christians believe that God has broken the power of all that is evil, in the world and in ourselves. If we accept forgiveness and liberation, and are willing to be open to the Holy Spirit, God can enable us to resist evil and to live life to the full. Living as a Christian means much more than going to church. It involves a life-long journey to follow in Jesus' steps. This will mean trying to apply what we know of God through Jesus to all the different aspects of our life, and make choices in life based on this rather than just our self-interest.
