Coming up at The Albion, Clifford soon - Assembly Bangers! Community singing in a local pub, raising money for St Luke's Church.

Come and relive your youth by singing a selection of school assembly favourites on Tuesday 16th June at 7pm.

You will not have to file into the pub in a line, nor sit cross-legged, but stickers may be given out for good behaviour and/or singing.
(Note that this is a fun, nostalgic event designed for adults).

Join us for our monthly service of Holy Communion at the Chapel of Our Lady on the Bramham Park estate at 10am on Tuesday 2nd June. All are welcome. This lovely chapel is a hidden gem in our parish and well worth a visit.

Entry is via the Bowcliffe Road - the gate's postcode is LS23 6LR
From the Bowcliffe traffic lights...
• Cross A1 bridge and bear right
• (Do not go straight on through the wrought iron gates - that is Bowcliffe Hall)
• Down the slope for 50m, parallel with the A1
• You have arrived at the East Drive Gate
• If closed, use the entryphone and push the button for ‘Main House’
• After 300m bear right at the Y-junction, signed Bramham Park
• Continue a mile up the drive until you rise up the hill to the front of the House
• At the crossroads go straight on, over the cattle-grid, between the gates
topped with sphinxes and bears
• Turn right at the lawn and follow it around the corner at the little obelisk
• Immediately turn right, in front of the big hedge
• Follow the hedge for 40m, through the wrought iron gate
• Turn left up the stone hedged path
• After 40m, park at the top, in front of the Chapelgate (call the parish office if you need further directions).

Look out for a member of our Harmony congregation, Diane, who is on BBC Look North today, highlighting the need for more Hearing Dogs.

Diane and Merlin are regulars at Harmony, our monthly service which brings D/deaf and hearing people together to eat and worship together.

Harmony meets on the 2nd Sunday of each month 12.30 - 2.30pm and starts with a light lunch. No charge - give as you feel.
It is useful for catering if you can let is knpw you are coming in advance.

Nearly 70 people in Yorkshire are partnered with hearing dogs, but 35 are on the waiting list.
