Our Lifehouses are so much more than a ‘hostel’ for those facing homelessness. They are also places where people can find support with employment, debt problems, training, spirituality, loneliness, addiction or mental health. They are places where friendships are formed and lives are transformed.

Transitioning from homelessness to a permanent home is about so much more than simply having a roof over your head. It’s impossible to put a price on that comforting security that comes with having your own space. This is why The Salvation Army is passionate about breaking the cycle of homelessness because everyone deserves a place to call home.

From LifeHouses to Housing First schemes, find out more about the many innovative ways we help people move on to independent accommodation: https://brnw.ch/21x2Pt7

Easter reminds us that darkness doesn’t get the last word.

Because of Jesus, hope is still alive. If life feels heavy, messy, or uncertain, this is your reminder that God has not stepped away.

“The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” — John 1:5

Maybe your prayer this Easter is simply:
God, if you are there, help me see hope again.
