Toddlers at St Peter’s restarts today after our summer holiday break.

10-11.30am for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers.

No need to book, toast, biscuits, hot and cold drinks for adults and children available throughout the morning and all for only £2 per family 😊

September means summer is coming to an end and a new academic year is beginning.For some that brings changes of starting...

September means summer is coming to an end and a new academic year is beginning.
For some that brings changes of starting new schools or college.

This September also means change for Youth Drop In. George, who is our lead youth worker, has now started a new role as youth worker for St Peter’s Church. She will still be heading up drop in as part of her role.
Unfortunately, this means we have had to reduce the days of drop in to Mondays and Tuesdays only.
This does mean there will be oppourtunities for different groups and events throughout the year, so watch this space for updates!

Youth drop in is still for anyone of secondary age, whether you regularly attend a school or not.
We will also still be providing cheese toasties and drinks.
Everything is also still free!

We can’t wait to see you or meet you!!

This is your invitation to church this morning. If you have not been to St Peter’s church before - here are some things that might be helpful for you to know…..

- you are welcome if you always go to church, sometimes go to church or never go to church
- it’s all for free !
- we are an ‘intentionally Intergenerational church’ which basically means all ages stay together at all times
- we sit around tables and there are always lovely activities that you are welcome to do as much or as little of as you like
- we have 2 breakout spaces where you and your little ones can spread out and play
- we have fidget toys and ear defenders always available
- we have tea and coffee between our 8.30am and 10am service. We also have tea and coffee after the 10am service (and always biscuits…)
- we have a great Carpark but if it’s full, all the streets around the church have on street parking
- please do not worry if you are running late, we never mind if you arrive after we have started the service

You are welcome whatever your age is, so hopefully we will see you all soon !

Today at St Peter’s we were talking and thinking all about Love ❤️ 1 Corinthians 13

One of our intergen activities was to make origami hearts which were very cool!

And in one of our Breakout spaces a number of people, of different ages, spent time creating a collage thinking about the question ‘What is love?’

‘Church. But not as you know it’ was fabulous today - despite the heat we had a great time thinking about the fact that God is with us wherever we go.

Amongst alot of other activities we had fun walking through sand remembering and praying thankfulness that God walks with us in the good times and the hard times.

Joshua 1:9 - This is my command - be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Next month’s ’Church.But not as you know it’ is on 16th September and our theme is Harvest ! So get the date in your diary and we will see you there 😊

Today is our Summer picnic at ‘Church. But not as you know it.’ It’s already hot outside but it will be cooler in St Peter’s !

Arrive anytime from 3.30pm - loads of lovely activities that you can choose from (including sitting down and drinking a cold drink!) and then we will eat our picnic in the church.

We will be making sandwiches and decorating biscuits but if you want to bring some other bits for your picnic then please do !
