What a fantastic afternoon for our community! The Big Lunch Picnic was a great success with many community groups taking part. Huge thank you to West Rainton Primary School for the wonderful steel band performance & making the free picnic bags, to Ricky Clarke for his vocals, Durham Area Youth for the stocks & games, Science Boffins for experiments & slime, Brownies, Dementia Group, St Mary’s & Green Group for their stalls and a lovely dancing demonstration from the Carson Connelly Dance School!! Many enjoyed the animal handling brought by Amanda’s Creature Comforts & of course the ice creams from Darrin’s van! Funding thanks to West Rainton Partnership, the Parish Council, County Councillors & Banks Homes.
Donations made towards next year raised £331.22! 👍🥰👏👏👏
