Centrepoint Christian Church Centrepoint Christian Church now
Worshiping @ Living Hope Church West Bromwich Who Are We? Over the past 20 years we have largely achieved that objective.

Established in 1987, Centrepoint Christian Church is a member of the West Bromwich Churches Together, an affiliated member of the Fellowship of the Churches of Christ of Great Britain and is a registered Charity. Centrepoint Christian Church began with a vision to reach those that often were not reached by conventional church approaches. Our worship style is broadly contemporary. Charismatic, Eva

ngelical, Revolutionary and Radical. Centrepoint has a genuine family atmosphere, and our history testifies that we have an open door to the whosoever. Our base of operations is currently in a converted Warehouse, of which we are not ashamed, better not a "picture perfect stage and missing all the queues" rather a church without walls, dirty hands and seeking to be a reflection of Jesus. Based in West Bromwich, but operative in a number of areas within Sandwell, Centrepoint is a down to earth church engaged in a range of community projects and acts of service. Actively supporting local neighbourhoods, Centrepoint has led a number of community cohesive intitatives, contributed to statutory programmes (Sandwell Childrens Fund, Urban Living) and participated in local forums. The majority of our work has a bias to the poor. We are not the church to join if you seek a traditional form of church! We can point you, however, to several good ones. You can come, sit, stand, jig, dance, sing, reflect, pray, meet with God. We will pray with you, give Godly counsel, come alongside you if you need help, or if you just want to journey with us a while, thats fine. We do not have a church membership to join. We are not a social club. You are, however, invited to join us in our work in this part of the Fathers Vineyard, to labour in the harvest field of West Bromwich, to join in covenant with us in our call. Our History is HIS-Story, and it's still being written.

Apparently according to the BBC a record number of circa 5.1 Billion people around the word viewed Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s funeral service yesterday.

Whatever the final number viewers turns out to be everyone of them heard The Gospel proclaimed.

Never before in human history will so many people have heard the gospel at the same time.

Friends, if any of you who watched yesterdays service, heard that Gospel message and would like to know more about what it means to them please message us, we are here to help.

May God save the United Kingdom!

May God save Commonwealth and the World!

“When one generation no longer esteems its own heritage and fails to pass the torch to its own children, it is saying in essence that the very foundational principles and experiences that make it the society that it is are no longer valid...

What is required when this happens and the society has lost its way, is for leaders to arise who have not forgotten the discarded legacy and who love it with all their hearts.

They can then become the voice of that lost heritage, wooing an errant generation back to the faith of the fathers, back to the ancient foundations and the bedrock values.”

“Death is the means of our return to God. It is an encounter with Christ. It could be transformed into an act of worship, into an experience of healing. It is a friend, not an enemy. It is a beginning, not an end.” Kallistos Ware, Orthodox priest and theologian (1934-2022).

Just had to share the following message from Vision Ministries:

Queen Elizabeth II

It is with great sadness we as people, as a nation, mourn the death of our amazing and beloved Queen. Such a lady of conviction and fortitude, what a role model, what a legacy she has left us with. Her death seems to have highlighted and enhanced her person and her strength of character and has given us a deeper insight of who she was and how much she loved and was loved.

As the tributes pour in it is inspirational to hear and see into parts of her life of which perhaps, we were previously unaware. She was the Queen, known, loved, and respected throughout the world, yet she was our personal Queen and the sense of loss we feel as individuals has taken many of us by surprise.

She lived a life totally committed to her calling and totally fulfilled, right to the end, how amazing, how inspirational.

I read a book some while back entitled, ‘Who will cry when you die?’ As the rain clouds have opened in our hearts for our late Queen, the thought crossed my mind, ‘Who will cry when we die? What lasting legacy will we leave behind.

Each of us has a role to play in this life, that is why we are here, a role to play that God has called us to. Are each of us living our lives totally committed to our calling, and will we leave totally fulfilled as our Queen and with the same conviction of Paul – ‘I have fought the good fight, I have finished my course, and I have kept the faith. From now on a crown of righteousness is laid up for me, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that Day, and not only to me but also to all who have loved His appearing.’

Food for thought!

Love and Blessings

Centrepoint Christian Church joins with the rest of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth in mourning the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.

We give thanks to God for her extraordinary life of dedicated service. Her Majesty has been part of all of our lives and has been someone who has always sought to be an example of Christian service.

We ask you to keep the new King and the rest of the Royal Family in your prayers.

“For me, the life of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace is an inspiration and an anchor in my life. A role-model of reconciliation and forgiveness, he stretched out his hands in love, acceptance and healing. Christ’s example has taught me to seek to respect and value all people of whatever faith or none.” (Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second 2014)
