There have been negative reports of the Hilal for Muharram being sighted, therefore we will begin the new year tomorrow after sunset.

‎اللّهم أَدْخِلْهُ عَلَينا بِالأَمْنِ وَالإِيمان، وَالسَّلامَةِ وَالإِسْلام،
‎وِجَوارٍ مِّنَ الشَّيْطان، وَرِضْوَانٍ مِّنَ الرَّحْمٰن.

O Allah, enter it upon us with safety and faith, with peace and Islam, and the protection from shaytan, and your pleasure.

We announce the Janaza of Muhammad Wasif Ratasaf, who sadly passed away at a young age.

He was the beloved son of Late Raja Muhammad Ratasaf,
and the cherished nephew of Raja Shaban Afzal and Late Raja Sharaz Khan.

He is remembered by his brothers Atif Ratasaf and Waqas Ratasaf,
his cousins Adnan Afzal and Imran Afzal,
and his brother‑in‑law Taqdees Ilyas.

The Janaza will take place today at 4:00 PM

Fasting on the day of Arafah

The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was asked about fasting on the day of Arafah (9th of Dhul Hijjah), whereupon he said “It Expiates the sins of the past year and the comming year.” [Sahih Muslim]

Tomorrow is one of the most important and blessed days of our lifetime. It is a day of Fasting, a day of Forgiveness, a day of Dhikr and a day of Supplication. It is a day in which we should humble ourselves to seek Allah’s forgiveness and never despair in His mercy. Even if you are not standing on the Plains of ’Arafat, you can still seek Allah’s forgiveness from your own home.

Moon Sighting Announcement

Allhamdulillah, after positive sighting of the hilal, we have begun the month of Dhul Hijjah.

Eid Ul Adha will be on Wednesday 27th May 2026

The 10 days which haved commenced, are the best of days, as Allah ﷻ took an outh by the ten nights of Dhul Hijjah which indicate that these days hold utmost importance in our religion.

It is narrated by Ibn Abbas (رضي الله عنه) that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said

“There are no deeds better in the sight of Allah than good deeds done in the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah”. It was asked “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah?” He replied “Not even Jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out with his life and wealth with him and does not come back with anything”.
