🎉PGPS IS TURNING 25!
We’re celebrating 25 wonderful years of Pierrepont Gamston Primary School — and we’d love you to be part of it! 💙

📅 Sunday 27th September
⏰ 2.45pm for a 3pm start

Connect Gamston are hosting a special 25th Anniversary Celebration Service, bringing together past and present pupils, families, staff and friends of the school.

It’ll be a relaxed, all-age service lasting around an hour, with memories and stories from people who have been part of the PGPS journey over the years. Whether your connection was 25 years ago or much more recently, you’re warmly invited to join us!

🎥 Calling all former PGPS pupils!

We’re putting together a special video montage to show during the celebration and would LOVE to include as many ex-students as possible.
If your child attended PGPS, please ask them to record a short and sweet video message including:
👋 Their name
🌟 What they’re up to now — studies, work, travelling, hobbies… anything goes!
💭 A favourite memory or something they valued about their time at PGPS

Today is the National Day of Prayer for Schools! 🏫✨

We are so grateful for our local community and especially for Pierrepont Gamston Primary School. Today, we are joining together across the nation to lift up every child, family, teacher, and member of staff in prayer.

Take a moment to pause and pray with us using the words in the image below as we ask for God's blessings of wisdom, hope, and joy over our school community.

Come and join us from 2.45pm this afternoon at St Luke's Church - coffee will be ready and there's a warm welcome for everyone.
Our service will be engaging and interactive for all ages with worship, Bible-thinking and a great time with God and one another!

We’re starting a new group for mums and their babies and toddlers. It's a relaxed space to chat, share life, make friends and have a little more time for honest conversations.

We’ll have a short Bible reflection and some time for prayer, but there’s no expectation to have faith or know anything about the Bible. Everyone is welcome, whether you’re a person of faith, exploring faith, or have no faith at all.

We’ll meet in the comfy lounge at St Luke’s Church. Bring along food for yourself and your little one if you’d like, and we’ll eat and chat together.

It’s simply a safe, friendly space to get to know other mums and talk a little deeper than we sometimes get the chance to at our usual toddler activities.

✨ A new season, a new rhythm ✨

Whether you’re heading back to school, returning to work, working from home, caring for others, enjoying retirement, or simply finding your way through a change in routine — this time of year can feel like a fresh start.

Sometimes that feels exciting… and sometimes it can bring a few nerves too.

This afternoon, we’d love you to join us for our Connect Gamston Backpack Service at 3pm at St Luke's Church

☕ Coffee and refreshments will be available from 2.45pm

We’d love you to bring something that represents your everyday life — a school bag, notebook, tools, trainers, or anything else that says something about your week!

Our services are short, interactive, thoughtful and fun, with a warm welcome for all ages. Come along, bring a friend, and start the week feeling connected.

Whether you go to school, work at home or out and about, retired or carer for others...September can feel like a new start or rhythm after the summer months. Sometimes that's exciting and sometimes it makes us a little anxious.
This Sunday come and join us for our Connect Gamston Backpack service, 3pm at St Luke's Church. Coffee and other refreshments served from 2.45pm.
Bring with you something that represents your daily life - your school bag, notebook, hammer, trainers! Whatever it is for you! Our services are fun, thoughtful, short and interactive - welcoming for all the family!

Today our 3pm service is a bit of a special one! We will meet outside the front of the & make our way to the large prayer shelter in the playground for an outdoor Communion service. Like all out services it will be accessible for all ages and stages of faith & everyone is welcome!
