Friendly, welcoming and busy - a place for worship and fun for people of all ages. There are services on Sunday mornings (normally 10am) and evenings (normally 6.30pm), as well as a range of groups and activities throughout the week. An active member of the Wem Churches Together group.

Many many thanks to everyone who came and helped us celebrate our centenary at Wem Methodist Church this morning. It was a wonderful to see so many people (approximately 200+) from Wem and the surrounding area enjoying the displays we had put together covering our time on Aston Street.

You are all very welcome to come along to our Sunday service tomorrow morning at 11am, as we continue our celebrations.

N.B. The soup, roll and pudding meal after the service is fully booked.

Come along to Wem Methodist Church tomorrow morning between 10am - 12pm for our Centenary coffee morning celebrating the life of the church over the last 100 years. There is a very varied display of memories and activities that the church has been involved in during this time.

You will receive a special welcome as always.

We are holding a special coffee morning on Saturday (10am-12pm) providing free refreshments. Come along and see displays of our 100 year history.

On Sunday we will be holding a Centenary Service at 11am, which you are warmly invited to.

Well what a busy morning at Wem Methodist Church and Millennium Green Wem Plant and Craft Fair today. Our ‘BIG’ coffee morning was extremely busy and we got through 13 pints of milk!

Thank you to everyone who came along and supported both events.

Thanks to you again as we raised a wonderful £800 for church funds, of which £200 will be donated to Christian Aid as part of their fundraising campaign this week.

We hope all those at the Millennium Green craft & plant sale had a successful morning as well.

Our next event is our Church’s Centenary celebrations in June. Free refreshments for all your support over the years. See poster below.

Christian Aid Week - 10th - 16th May

There will not be any envelopes delivered through your letterboxes this year as only 3.9% were returned last year. 2200 envelopes were delivered and only 86 returned.

If you wish to donate this year there will be a collection at Wem Co-Op on Thursday 14th of May - 10am until 2pm.

A collection bucket will also be available at Wem Methodist Church on Saturday 16th May - 9am until 12pm.

Please donate what you can to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
