It was brilliant to have our children's groups at Christchurch yesterday morning. From this Sunday - 7th September, we are starting new teaching series in both our groups. Come and join us at 9:30am at Parkway or 10:30am at Peartree. We have groups for 2yrs through to 11 yr olds. We would love to see you there as we look at Friends of God (in our under 5's group) and Heroes of Faith in our school years 1-6 groups.

Today we celebrate Pentecost when the church began. In our groups today we will be celebrating and exploring the birth of the church. We can't wait to see you and celebrate together.

In the Bible, we read about how creation cries out to God in worship. On Sunday in Seedlings we explored how God spoke to Moses through nature but God still speaks to us today through nature. Why not go on a walk and explore God's creation and take some time thinking about what the flowers might say to God.

On Sunday in Seedlings we were thinking about how we can chat to God. To help little ones to chat with God we can use toys to help. Why not use this prompt to give your child (and you) a chance to chat to God about something this week.

This half term, our time in Saplings and Rooted (school years 1-6) will be looking at two series. We will start by looking at 'Easter...Then What?' and then we will be exploring the book of Daniel in our 'Be Bold' series.

This Sunday we start our new series, 'Chat and Catch' in Seedlings (children aged 2 years old up to reception). We will be exploring how we can chat to God about anything and how God speaks to us in many different ways.
