"Be anxious for nothing" - This is a command, not an option. While it's inevitable that we will have feelings of anxiety, we don't have to get lost in them. Most of our worry is over things that we have absolutely no control over, and is therefore foolish as well as harmful. Max Lucado writes: "The presence of anxiety is unavoidable, but the prison of anxiety is optional." We don't have to be anxious or distraught because all things work together for the good of those who love God. It brings peace and hope.
