Welwyn Garden City Church We are a group of Christian believers who love and worship Jesus, joined together by the Holy Spirit.

Our church is made up of people who are participants and not just spectators in the life and function of the church. We seek Gods will for our lives and welcome anyone who is interested to know about the living God and His love. We believe in:

The full inspiration of the Bible a

nd in its full authority in all matters relating to life and doctrine. The doctrine of the Trinity as One Triune God subsisting in Three Persons; The Father, The Son and the Holy Spirit,
The free gift of a right-standing with God through personal repentance and faith in the person in Jesus Christ and His work on the Cross. The bodily resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ and in his ascension and enthronement at the right hand of the Father. The baptism of the Holy Spirit and Christ's promise that the Holy Spirit would indwell those who received Him. The power of the indwelling Spirit to create a new heart and a new spirit in His people,
The power of the indwelling Spirit to enable His people to be His witnesses to the whole world and to fulfil, with signs following, the gospel commission. The power and presence of the Holy Spirit to lead and to enable the local church in its life and witness and in the continuing ministry of spiritual gifts, distributed as God wills. The practice of believer's baptism by immersion in water, subsequent to confession of personal faith. The proclamation of Christ's death and Second Coming in the practice of the Breaking of Bread. The personal, physical, return of our Lord Jesus Christ and in His appointment as the Judge of all at the coming final judgment. The restoration/renewal of the earth and the renewing of our physical bodies.

Some years ago my mum sat in my living room gazing at my bookcase when she saw a little book by a man called Watchman Nee, (The Latent Power of the Soul) she did not know the Lord but was intrigued by the title and asked if she could borrow it. She took it home to Cyprus and started to read it. In the process of time and of reading her bible (all in Gods plan) she came to faith and accepted Jesus as her personal saviour. The point is it takes just one moment in time for someone to ask a question or read a line that might be just the thing they need to hear, at just the right time in their lives, that will open the door to their heart, and where Gods spirit will enter, and the revelation begins, let’s always be ready to give an answer to the reason why we have this faith.
One person sows, another reaps, but God gives the increase!

It is Finished it is Done, the work of the cross is complete, resurrection life belongs to those who choose to acknowledge this wonderful saviour, Jesus Christ, He has conqured death, eternal life is in Him, Jesus is alive for evermore and NOTHING will ever interupt the flow of His mighty victory for ever!
Call on Him, talk to Him, if your heart is open He will show Himself to you.
