Visitation Services in each of our 18 deaneries begin this week as Church Wardens are commissioned for the vital role they play in our church communities. Tony, Ruth and Andy will be joining diocesan colleagues and deanery leaders for these in various locations over the next few weeks.

First up tonight was Quantock Deanery at St Decuman's Watchet. In his charge, Archdeacon Simon said, "While the details of church management are important, they are not ends in themselves. What really matters is that our churches are places and communities of prayer, places where we meet with God" 🙏

Launchpad Class of 2026! We've had a such a great time leading the Launchpad training again this year 🙌

Eight of our clergy took up Bishop Michael's invitation to explore youth ministry over 5 lunchtimes, some of them bringing along a curate or another person from their church community.

Created by Youthscape, the Launchpad programme isn’t about selling a magic blueprint for youth work, it is about helping churches to identify a model that could work where they are and providing some helpful content and resources to make it more possible...
