Our beautiful Church was decorated ready for our Easter Sunday service yesterday.

Friday April 3rd at 2pm - "The Last Hour"

A tranquil and contemplative service. This gathering will focus on the crucifixion and passing of Jesus through moments of reflection and silent prayer.

Sunday April 5th at 9.30am - Easter Sunday

A Eucharist service for everyone of all ages to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus from the dead, complete with Easter Lillie's in memory of loved ones no-longer with us.

Everyone is welcome to our church no matter your age, faith, you don't need to be "a local villager" you will always get a warm welcome whoever you are, please feel free to join us anytime and if you have any questions please send us a message via this page and we'll answer.

Join us to celebrate all things Mothering this coming Sunday, it's not just for ladies with children, we're fully inclusive and think outside the box!!

You could be a dog/cat mother, you could be an honoury mother to anyone and everyone, we'd like to celebrate all women/mothers.

Our service is at 9.30am (plenty of time to then get home again for your lunch!!)

We look forward to seeing you all there.

Do come and join us to see in Christmas.

It doesn't matter if you normally come to church or not, it doesn't matter if you can sign or not, you don't even need to live in Wookey Hole, anyone and everyone is welcome to come and join us and celebrate the start of the Christmas season, we'll have all well known Christmas Carols.

The door will be open and you'll always get a warm welcome.

Christmas Day: 9.30am

This morning we joined the whole country with our own act of rememberance.

A big thank-you to:
Rev. Catherine Llewelyn-Evans for taking the service and Simon for playing the Last post on the trumpet.

During the act of rememberance around the war memorial, a list of names were read out to remember local people who gave the ultimate sacrifice of life, so we all have the freedom we all enjoy today.

It was lovely to see such numbers turning out for the service which included national hymns:

Jerusalem
Oh god, our help in ages past
I vow to thee my country
Make me a channel of your peace
2 verses of the National Anthem (complete with fanfare to announce)

Finished off with Edward Elgar's Ni**od

There was a local family wedding today at our Church. A lovely service was held for Frankie Sampson and Michael Stone., .,
The rain stopped just as the bridal party arrived and it stayed dry for some photo opportunities afterwards. We wish the happy couple a very happy life together.
