Celebrating Baptism!

A couple of weeks ago, four members of our church family took an amazing step of faith and were baptised in the sea at Hive Beach, near Bridport.

It was such a special day. Standing together on the beach (and nearly being swept away by the waves!), surrounded by friends and family, celebrating four lives publicly saying yes to Jesus.

Baptism is such a beautiful picture of leaving the old life behind and stepping into the new life we have in Christ.

“We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life."
Romans 6:4

We’re so thankful for each of them, for what God has already done in their lives, and for everything still to come.

And if you’d like to come and join us, we’re meeting tomorrow morning at 10:30am at Seager Hall, Wells.

Whether you’ve been following Jesus for years, you’re just beginning to ask questions, or you’re simply curious — you’re very welcome.

Just a reminder that our Bible Study is on tonight at 7pm at Seager Hall, Wells.

It's a really relaxed evening where we read the Bible together, chat about what it means, ask questions, pray, and encourage one another. You don't need to know loads about the Bible or have all the answers – we're all learning together.

If you've been thinking about coming along, tonight would be a great time to give it a try. You'll be made very welcome.

Tea, Coffee, Cake... and The Chosen!

Looking for a relaxed way to spend your Friday morning?

We would love to invite you to join us at Wells Vineyard Church for tea, coffee, homemade cake, and a couple of episodes of the acclaimed TV series The Chosen.

The Chosen tells the story of Jesus through the eyes of the people who met Him. Whether you're a lifelong Christian, simply curious about who Jesus is, or you've heard people talking about the series and want to see what all the fuss is about, you're very welcome.
