Looking ahead to the Summer...
Heritage Wellbeing Sessions for families at St Nicholas Church, Wells-next-the-Sea.
Led by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, these wellbeing sessions will
explore St Nicholas’ churchyard and give you the time and freedom
to discover, enjoy and be creative in this very special space.
Join us for these exciting sessions, which will run from 10.00am until 12noon on the following Wednesdays in the Summer holidays:

10th August – Explore churchyard habitats with mini-beast and
invertebrate hunting
17th August – Get creative at our wild art session
24th August – Churchyard storytelling with Suzanne the Storyweaver

These wellbeing sessions are FREE and are being funded as part of the ‘Well, Well Wells!’ restoration project at St Nicholas Church.
Lunch will be provided in the churchyard by Wells Community Hospital Trust following each session.

Norfolk Wildlife Trust Conservation Skills Training at St Nicholas Church, Wells-next-the-Sea.

Led by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, these conservation sessions will
explore the habitats and biodiversity of St Nicholas’ churchyard and give you the skills to help sensitively manage this and other wild spaces.

Join us for the following sessions, each on a Tuesday and each running from 10.00am until 1.00pm:

24th May - Wild about flowers: churchyard plant surveying

21st June - Managing a churchyard with hedgehogs and other
mammals in mind

19th July - Bird and bat box making

The training sessions are FREE and booking is essential!

Led by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust, these Wild Art and Wellbeing sessions will explore St. Nicholas' churchyard and give you the time and freedom to discover, enjoy and be creative in this special space.

This exciting opportunity will run from 1600 until 1800 on Friday 20th May and will be followed by a barbecue in Wells Community Hospital Trust garden.
