Back to school/work/reality this week?

We're kicking off the new academic year with a back to school special, considering how to find God in the busyness of our lives! It will be an All Age Cafe Church Service, where we sit around tables with a hot drink and cake in hand.

Whoever you are, you are so welcome to join us at 10.30pm at Glenvale Church of England School for coffee and doughnuts before the church service starts. The service and tables are full of activities that any age can get involved in. If you are wanting to explore faith and church for the first time, this is a great service to come to!

Reverend Livvi talks about our current sermon series over the summer. Generation Z is considered by some to be the loneliest generation. Every other generation is suffering with loneliness. How do we find the true friendship we long for in an age where we have all the ways of connecting, but struggle to find deep connection with one another?

Over the summer, we will be considering Jesus-centred friendship through our sermon series, looking specifically at the Gospel of Luke and how Jesus modelled friendship. In a culture that is consistently feeling lonelier and disconnected, how might real, authentic friendship be transformational to us as a church and those outside the church?
