📖 Sunday School: Bible Study for Kids — Back for 2026!

A monthly, classroom-based Bible study for children in Year 3–9 who enjoy learning and want to thoughtfully explore Scripture through reading, teaching, questions, and discussion.

In 2026, we’ll work through the Book of John, a few chapters at a time, building a strong understanding of who Jesus is and what the Bible teaches.

We’re excited for our Sunday School Bible Classes this Sunday, August 31st, 1:00–4:00 PM!

This week we’ll be diving into two life-changing truths from God’s Word:
✨ Adoption – God not only forgives us but welcomes us into His family as His children.
✨ Sanctification – God lovingly works in us every day to make us more like Jesus.

We’ll be exploring big questions in ways kids can really understand, such as:
❓ “Does God really want me in His family?”
❓ “If I mess up, does God still love me?”
❓ “Why do Christians still sin if they belong to Jesus?”
❓ “How can I become more like Jesus?”
❓ “What will it be like when God finishes changing me?”

Through Bible teaching and small group discussion, children will see how much God loves them and how He promises to keep working in their lives.

🕐 Time: 1:00–4:00 PM
🚪 Drop-Off: Please wait with your child until 1:00 PM and pick up at 4:00 PM

🎶La De Dah… 🎶
This past Sunday at Sunday School: Bible Theology Classes for Kids, we learned our memory verse — Ephesians 2:8 — by singing along to “Grace (La De Dah)” by Seeds Kids Worship! 🎁
Keep singing it at home to remember that salvation is a gift from God!

This month’s big questions were:
💬 “If I believe in God, is that enough?”
💬 “How do I know God really forgives me?”
💬 “Does God love people who don’t believe in Him?”

Kids ask big questions—and we’re helping them discover what it really means to trust Jesus, be forgiven, and understand God’s grace for everyone. 💛

Sunday School Highlights! 📖🔥
Today we learnt how to be self-feeders — diving into the Bible to discover what God’s Word actually says about the Holy Spirit. It was amazing to see the young people growing in confidence as they explored scripture for themselves!

We also wrapped up with a big review quiz… but you’ll have to guess: did the leaders win or the kids? 😄🏆

📚 Sunday School Bible Classes for Year 2/3, Year 4/5/6, and Year 7/8/9 run on the last Sunday of every month, 1–4pm at Compass Church Wellingborough — plus we have weekly Kids Church sessions too!

We love seeing our kids grow in faith and understanding each week ❤️

Sunday School 2025 is in full swing!

Last month, we launched our brand-new Bible classes for kids, designed for those who love to learn in a structured, classroom-style setting. These once-a-month sessions dive deep into the Bible and theology at an age-appropriate level.
