PRAYERS FOR THE WEEK 15th-20th JUNE

As this week begins, we surrender our plans, worries, and goals to you. Fill our hearts with peace, our minds with clarity, and bless the work of our hands. We ask for wisdom before making decisions, and for your peace when our minds feel heavy. May this week be filled with answered prayers, unexpected provision, clear direction, and quiet strength. Amen

Give strength and healing to those who are ill in body, mind or spirit, and give courage and skill to those who care for them. We remember, also, those who have died and gone before us, marked with the sign of faith. Amen

Heavenly Father, watch over the children of this parish whilst they are at school this week. We pray they will be happy and focused on their work and that the classrooms will be safe spaces. We continue to pray for students still taking public exams. Be with them and give them a sense of calm. Amen
everything I do.

Our Father in Heaven, hallowed be your name; your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us. Lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil. For the kingdom, the power and the glory are yours now and forever. Amen

PRAYERS ON SUNDAY 14th JUNE

God our Father, you sent your Son to us: grant that filled with your Spirit we may be renewed in faith, and inspired in hope and love, to spread the Gospel of your kingdom to all people; through Christ our Lord. Amen

Heavenly Father, we pray for your Church worldwide and especially in our parish. Strengthen Bishop Michael, Bishop Tim, Revd Taiwo and all your Church in the service of Christ. Amen

We ask for your blessings upon King Charles and the Royal Family. Grant to our King and his government the guidance of your Spirit. Amen

We pray for your peace and protection in war-torn countries. We ask that you watch over innocent civilians, heal the injured, and seek an end to the violence. Comfort those who have lost loved ones, their homes, and livelihoods. Amen

Heavenly Father, thank you for the local food bank volunteers helping to feed people in our town. Thank you for all carers in our community, providing strength, patience, and compassion to the sick, elderly and vulnerable. Amen

We pray for all who suffer in body, mind or spirit, and for people who need our prayers at this time, especially those known personally to us. We pray, also, for those who have died and may be known only to you. Help those who mourn their loved ones to experience the comfort of your Holy Spirit. Amen

Lord, we ask that you watch over the children of this parish whilst they are at school this week. We pray that school is a place of peace. Be with students still taking external examinations. Protects teachers and their mental health during this last half term. Amen

Thank you for the opportunity of a new week. Help us focus this week on what matters the most. Bring us clarity and a clear mind free of any distractions. Show us where to invest our time and energy. Help us seek you in everything we do. Amen

Amen
