You're invited to Hush the Noise this Christmas.

The Methodist Church has launched its 2024 Advent and Christmas campaign, Hush the Noise. We know how pressurised Christmas can be; so much expectation, so many voices telling us how to celebrate, what to wear, what to eat and drink, what to watch and what to buy. The campaign encourages us all to Hush the Noise and focus in on what is really important at this time of year.

Our church and neighbouring houses have been flooded again by a burst water main. We’ll know more once the water is pumped out. Please hold our church family and all those affected in your prayers. We are a strong church family serving our community… we’ll rise again!

We were blessed to hear Rachel singing Mendelssohn’s ‘Oh For The Wings Of A Dove’, accompanied by Ian on our new piano, during worship yesterday. Wonderful stuff!
