What does a fully stocked food pantry look like?
Open Heaven Church, Wednesbury has been providing a food pantry for Friar Park since 2020, fully stocked with meat, frozen products, tinned products, vegetables, treats like crisps and biscuits, hygiene products and household cleaning products. The variety of food means that full family meals can be prepared each week.

Open today between 12:30 and 2pm, the Open Heaven Church, Wednesbury Food Pantry is open to everyone who has been given a time slot.
The shelves are fully stocked and there is beef, chicken, bacon and ham in the fridge along with food in the freezer. There is also extra bread and vegetables on top of the 10 main items.
Staffed by volunteers, feeding the community for over 5 years.

David was an important and valued volunteer at the pantry. Our thoughts are with Karen throught this period.

The funeral service for David Duffill will be held at the church tomorrow, starting at 11:45, with the committal following at Sandwell crematorium at 1pm.
David was a valued volunteer at the church pantry, and is greatly missed.

If you have little ones, why not bring them along to Open Heaven Church, Wednesbury on Wednesday mornings for the toddler group? Just £1. Staffed by volunteers for the local community.

Our Toddler group is on this Wednesday at Crankhall lane.
Starts at 9:30am. Entry is £1, the little ones get toast, fruit, squash and a yoghurt. Parents get toast and hot drink.
Games, toys, story, come along and enjoy the fun!

Staffed entirely by volunteers from Open Heaven Church, Wednesbury, the church pantry is open today and tomorrow at Price Road Gospel Hall, Wednesbury.
£6.50 gets you 3 items from the fridge/freezer such as fresh meat, pizza and chicken nuggets, along with 7 items from the shelves such as tinned vegetables, tea, coffee, sugar and sweet treats. There is also extra bread and veg which is in addition to your 10 items.
Serving the community since Covid the pantry has helped hundreds of families provide full meals on a weekly basis.

Open Heaven has been running a Local Pantry since 2020. We currently have spaces available on a Tuesday if you would like to join.
You get a regular, weekly slot and for £6.50, you get 3 large items from the fridge and freezer, including fresh and frozen meat products and pizzas. You also get 7 items from the shelves such as tinned products, tea, coffee, sugar, crisps, biscuits, sauces. The shelves are stocked so you can make family meals.
There is also extra bread and vegetables on top of your 10 items.

Hi everyone, due to a health emergency, the pantry will be closing at 11:30 today.
Can people please come early this morning. It may be a bit chaotic this morning due to having to rush, but please bear with the staff, be patient and understand that they will have to leave at 11:30 even if people are waiting. Their health must come first.
