WORLD CUP WATCH PARTY

Football Fever is well underway with the World Cup! With that in mind, we are going to have a Watch Party at the Church for England’s next Game vs Ghana on Tuesday 23rd June at 9pm. If you want to come along and enjoy watching the game with other people it would be great to have you! Feel free to invite others to come along as well.

A special event is being run in the Church by Watford Schools Trust for Year 6 children who are getting ready to move to Secondary School. This is complimentary and different to the transition workshops that Watford Schools Trust run in Schools with a focus on 'standing up for what you believe'. The event is open to all Year 6 children, whether of a particular faith or none. Feel free to share with any Year 6 children you know. Sign up details in the poster below!

We are looking forward to a great time together as a Church Family this coming Sunday!

At 10:30am we are gathering for our Morning Worship Service. We will be singing, praying, and praising God together! Gary will be continuing our Teaching Series in the Book of Philippians called “The Joyful Life.” Children’s and Youth Programmes will also be running during the Service. After the Service there will be Tea, Coffee and Refreshments and everyone is invited to stay and connect together.

At 6:00pm our NYI (Youth Group) are meeting together. They will be having a Games Night followed by “Hard Questions” - an opportunity to ask questions about the Christian Faith and learn more about it.

We are looking forward to a great time together as a Church Family this coming Sunday!

At 10:30am we are gathering for our Morning Worship Service. We will be singing, praying, and praising God together! Gary will be continuing our Teaching Series in the Book of Philippians called “The Joyful Life.” Dove’s Nest Ministries will be sharing in the Service about their work. Children’s and Youth Programmes will also be running during the Service. After the Service there will be Tea, Coffee and Refreshments and everyone is invited to stay and connect together.

At 6:00pm we will be meeting for our Evening Service. This will be a time of Praise and Testimony as we hear from individuals how God has changed their life. Gary will start a Series looking at the Parables of Jesus. Tea, Coffee and some Treats will be served after the Service.

We are looking forward to a great time together as a Church Family this coming Sunday!

At 10:30am we are gathering for our Morning Worship Service. We will be singing, praying, and praising God together! Gary will be starting a new Teaching Series in the Book of Philippians called “The Joyful Life.” Children’s and Youth Programmes will also be running during the Service. After the Service there will be Tea, Coffee and Refreshments and everyone is invited to stay and connect together.

At 6:00pm we will be meeting for our Evening Service where we will be thinking about the question from the last week of the Alpha Course: “Does God Heal Today?” We will sing God’s praises and Gary will share a Message on this Topic. Some Q&A will also follow.

We are looking forward to a great time together as a Church Family this coming Sunday!

At 10:30am we are gathering for our Morning Worship Service. We will be singing, praying, and praising God together! With it being Pentecost Sunday Gary will be speaking on Acts 2 with the Message entitled, “The Promise Kept.” Children’s and Youth Programmes will also be running during the Service. After the Service there will be Tea, Coffee and Refreshments and everyone is invited to stay and connect together.

At 6:00pm we are meeting for the penultimate week of the Alpha Course. This has been a great space to explore the Christian Faith and there is still time to join in these last couple of weeks.

Tuesday 19th May:
- Dementia Friendly Church Service and Together Support Group at 12:30pm.
- ⁠Night 2 of Week of Prayer at 7:30pm.

Wednesday 20th May:
- Knit and Natter at 10:00am.
- ⁠Night 3 of Week of Prayer at 7:30pm.

Thursday 21st May:
- Little Stars Parent and Toddler Group at 9:15am.
- ⁠Night 4 of Week of Prayer at 7:30pm.

Friday 22nd May:
- Morning Prayer at 8:00am.
- ⁠Kids Club at 5:30pm.
- ⁠Night 5 of Week of Prayer at 7:30pm.

Sunday 24th May:
- Morning Worship Service with Crèche, Children’s and Youth Programmes at 10:30am. Tea, Coffee and Conversation after the Service.

We are looking forward to our first night of our Week of Prayer “Thy Kingdom Come” at 7:30pm this evening. Tonight there will be a number of different Prayer Focuses based on our relationship with God and on our relationship with other people. We trust you will be blessed by it. Hope to see you there!

Come along on Sunday - everyone is welcome! We are located on The Brow at the heart of Woodside. Our Morning Service starts at 10:30am. Crèche, Kids and Youth Programmes are available during the Service. Tea, Coffee and Refreshments follow afterwards.

We are looking forward to our upcoming Week of Prayer called “Thy Kingdom Come.” From Monday 18th May - Sunday 24th May (Pentecost Sunday) we will be gathering every evening at 7:30pm to pray for a fresh move of God’s Spirit in our lives, our community and our world! There will be different Prayer Focuses each evening along with times of praise. Everyone is welcome as we seek God and praise His name together!

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14).
