READ 🤓 Sister Maryjane has been attending Hope UK Church since arriving in the UK in 2002 and began serving in the church in 2008. She was part of the pioneering team that established Hope UK Church Hertfordshire. Alongside her husband, Brother Nar, and their children, Naven and Natalie, she faithfully and actively serves God in the church. She currently works as a Healthcare Assistant in the NHS.
Before moving to the UK, she worked as a social worker in the Philippines, where christian colleagues introduced her to Jesus and invited her to church. Through God's guidance, she and her husband found Hope UK Church, where her faith continued to grow. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Lord and Saviour, believing that salvation is not about religion, rules, or being "good enough," but about having a personal relationship with Him.
For Sister Maryjane, discipleship means following Jesus, learning His teachings, and helping others grow in their faith. Inspired by Jesus' command in Matthew 28:19-20, she is passionate about mentoring others, encouraging them to develop a deeper relationship with Christ and become disciples who make disciples.
She believes that discipleship is essential for spiritual growth, as it provides guidance, encouragement, and accountability. Through her own discipleship journey, she has learned to trust God more, spend time in prayer and His Word, and grow in patience, humility, love, and forgiveness.
Having been mentored by Sister Weng and Sister Wena, Sister Maryjane now mentors individuals and families locally and globally. She leads the Hope Global Life Group and actively serves in various ministries, including Kids, ushering, intercession, social media, care, service leading, and outreach.
She considers it a great joy and privilege to serve God and encourages others to engage in discipleship, reminding them that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey and that no one needs to be perfect to start following Jesus. She believes that God can use ordinary people to do extraordinary things for His glory.

Today, we had our first ever prayer drive at St. Albans City, trusting the Lord that He will fill this place with His gospel of salvation.

Sunday Service: Holy Spirit Encounter

More than just another Sunday gathering, it was a powerful reminder that when the church comes together in prayer with one heart and one purpose, God moves—healing, restoring, strengthening, and transforming lives.

May we carry this encounter beyond these walls, becoming a church continually renewed by His Spirit and bold in faith, love, prayer, and service.

Last night, we had a lot to be thankful for, we celebrated the birthday of Brother Michael and their 47th Wedding anniversary with sister Jaqui! And the arrival of Zia in the UK! God is truly faithful! Praise God for their lives! We also want to thank our Watford bros and sisters who came to join us and support us in these celebrations 🫶

Our teaching last night was about Capturing the Heart of Outreach. We gained a better understanding of the kind of heart attitudes we should carry with
us when we outreach to others in the future. More than just aiming for more people to
come to church, but to have compassion and be passionate for God’s people. The Father's
heart must always be our sole motivation in outreach. Compassion moves us, and passion
drives us to do what we do.

And this left us with the questions: •Are we enthusiastic about sharing the love of Jesus to others?
•Will we be willing to step out
of our comfort zone to do so?

“However, I consider my life worth nothing to me; my only aim is to finish the race and
