St Matthew's is the C of E parish church for Oxhey on the southern edge of Watford. St Matthew’s has a church hall which is available for hire.

Today, Revd Joanna led our worship for the first time. A wonderful joyful occasion full of prayer and hope. Lots to be thankful for!🙏🏻

What a fantastic evening at St Matthew’s as the Revd Joanna Criscenti was inducted as our vicar. It was great to welcome friends,family and supporters from far and wide. The service was followed by a cheese and w**e reception.

Many thanks to everyone who made the evening such a memorable occasion. We now look forward to Joanna’s first service this Sunday at 10.00.

Our service today marked the end of our vacancy. We give thanks for your support and prayers which have enabled our church life and worship to continue. It has been a real team effort and we feel truly blessed.

We now look forward to Revd Joanna’s Institution and Induction Service on Wednesday and her first Eucharist next Sunday.

A wonderful celebration this weekend at St Matthews. We welcomed back Revd Peter Waddell to baptise Brendan,Jacob and baby Lauren.

Brendan, Rachael and family are regular worshippers and part of our church family. It was a lovely service and great to see so many supporting them on their faith journey.

A tasty hog roast rounded off the celebrations!

A plea from our friends at Red Trust Bushey for donations as, they are very short of supplies. We are a drop of point for them and there is a box in Church for your donations. If you are able, please donate what you can and we will take to RTB after the weekend. Thank you!

What a pleasure it was to welcome Bushey Festival this afternoon, with a mixed programme of music, poetry and story telling. A huge thank you to all who entertained us and those who helped organise it. Here’s to the next time!

Milly Forrest is giving a free recital accompanied by pianist, Chad Vindin.

The recital will last about 45mins and will feature some new Spanish repertoire the duo have been working on. Please come and support them and enjoy some beautiful romantic classical music.
