Walk in the Spirit
Church,
We must all strive to demonstrate walking in the Spirit daily. When He is not involved in our walk. The flesh springs to life and starts running things.
These are the works of the flesh as listed in Galatians 5.19
[Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.]
When any of these ugly works start, Satan is involved and we must not practice such things. He is very good at making the focus about me, me me which ends in some level of isolation and discord.
He uses these works as “BAIT” and door openers into the Kingdom of Darkness.
This kind of activity is absolutely void of the working and influence of the Holy Spirt.
Instead we are told the right works we should all be demonstrating and practicing.
[But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law. And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Gal 5.22]
The key work we need to do here is to crucify the flesh, it’s passions, it’s desires.
How to do this?
1. Stay in the Spirit by reading the word and by Doing what it says. [The flesh hates obedience to God. It always wants to rebel.]
2. Practice this, what would Jesus do, think and say. Do likewise. Demonstrate it. Mercy, compassion, forgiveness etc
3. Daily repentance. This is a biggie.’Take the log out of your eye first to see clearly. This will close open doors. It is written, repentance towards God and faith in Jesus Christ, the finished work of the cross.
As I write this I remember a vision I had many years ago. An army walking in the darkness with a Golden glow around them. And then thousands and thousands of arrows flying through the sky to the point that the sky went black, it was aimed at this army, but as it hit the army, it went through them and did not land on any of them. This I believe is what it means to walk in the spirit. The flesh is not seen and so the enemy had nowhere to land his arrows.
Beloved, God is Spirit, do your best to please Him by walking in the Holy Spirit. This is a safe place to be and live from. Don’t let the enemy get you into the flesh.
Ask sincerely the Holy Spirit to give you understanding that you may strive to walk in Him more-so; love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control
Remember you have the mind of Christ. The Holy Spirit. The word of God. The new covenant in His blood. You belong to Him now.

Let 2023 be a year of demonstration
Love, wisdom and understanding need to be demonstrated. Preaching, healing, casting out demons, the prophetic needs to be demonstrated. Courage and boldness need to be demonstrated. Holiness needs to be demonstrated. Mercy needs to be demonstrated. Loving each other evenly and not having favourite brothers and sisters needs to be demonstrated. Living a consecrated life unto God needs to be demonstrated. We should all aim to demonstrate the truth that is in us all. What’s in you the most will come out of you. Let it be Jesus.
