We can't believe it is already a week ago that we hosted 'Imagine', our latest Conversations in Jazz concert, a celebration of music, community, friendship and jazz improvisation. Ilario was joined by his good friend Enrico, a talented guitarist and composer, as well as Chinese erhu player and singer Ella Hong. The result was a journey through English, Italian, American and Chinese musical traditions and the church once again provided its fine acoustics and beautiful surroundings. Our next Conversations in Jazz is on 27th September and tickets will be on sale soon, so keep an eye out for the booking link in the coming weeks!

Today we welcomed John and Lynne who are our local Open Doors UK & Ireland reps, to tell us about the plight of persecuted Christians across the world and inspire us to pray and advocate. And then after the service we gathered at the Vicarage for our summer parish BBQ, celebrating Lesley's appointment as our curate. Huge thanks to Bill and Tomasz for their hard work at the BBQ, and all those who helped clear up afterwards!

We're pleased to host another Skip Day in partnership with our Central Ward Liberal Democrat Councillors. This Saturday between 9-11am the skip will be next to the church. And if you can spare half an hour or even an hour to do some litter picking, that'd be great too!
