We are very happy to welcom our newly appointed Archbishop Richard Moth this Tuesday 3rd March. He will celebrate mass at 18:30 and everyone is welcome!

Prayer for our new Archbishop Richard Moth

Loving Father, we thank you for the gift of Bishop Richard whom you have called to serve your Church in Westminster.
We pray that you fill him with your Holy Spirit. Give him true faith, certain hope, and perfect charity, so that he can guide us, teach us and sanctify us.
Give him courage to speak out for those who cannot speak, defend the rights of those who suffer and are vulnerable, and challenge the status quo.
Fill him with your love, so that he can be a shepherd who knows and cares for the flock you have entrusted to him and is not worried about smelling like his sheep.
Inspire his actions and his words so that the flame of apostleship is rekindled and generates a missionary ardour amongst the faithful. That his example may inspire our families to build your kingdom here. That under his guidance the college of priests and deacons grow in sanctity, and that our parishes become nurseries for new vocations.
Make him wise, so that he is a good teacher and administrator; strong to be our protector but tender to show us your endless mercy.
We ask you that he may imitate Christ and share the bread and wine with us his people in full communion with You and the Universal Church.
May he be happy and fruitful in his ministry, amen.
