This time next week…
Our lovely Tom and Hannah will be getting married! 💍

We are so incredibly happy for them both and want to wish them a lifetime of loving, supporting, and choosing each other every single day ❤️

At our last youth chorus practice, we had the joy of surprising them with a special song – with words written especially just for them. It was a really special moment, full of love, laughter, and a few happy tears!

Marriage is such a beautiful journey – not just about the big celebrations, but about the everyday moments of kindness, patience, and grace. It’s about walking side by side, trusting God, and growing together through every season.

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” – Joshua 24:15

We pray that their marriage will be filled with joy, deep friendship, and God’s guiding hand every step of the way. 💕

Congratulations Tom and Hannah – we are cheering you on and celebrating with you!

HEY THERE! 👀 Are you the creative one we're looking for? 🫣

The secret's out - we're having our International Youth Congress on 15-20 July 2027! 🌎 And we need your help in coming up with a logo that will be used for all congress-related materials. This competition is open for young people ages 18-25. Send your logo's PDF/PNG files on or before 01 June, 2026 to [email protected] 📩

You may use the following concepts for your logo:
📌 Theme: Empowering A Generation
📌 Goal: 'Encouraging, identifying, and building God-anointed, Spirit-filled leaders for The Salvation Army worldwide - securing a legacy for today and for years to come.'
📌 Key Verse: "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." - Jeremiah 29:11 NIV

We're so excited to see your entries! 😎

For those of you walking into exams from this week. This season can feel overwhelming, but remember, you are not facing it alone. 🙏

Do your best, stay disciplined, and trust God with the outcome. Your worth is not defined by grades, results, or comparison — your identity is found in Christ.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans.” — Proverbs 16:3 ✨

Praying for peace, wisdom, focus, and strength for everyone studying right now. You’ve got this! 💪💛

What a brilliant weekend! 🙏💕

What a brilliant weekend! 🙏💕

Wow—what an incredible weekend at Big Adventure! We’ve been joined by children and tweenagers from across the East of England, and it’s been inspiring to see their courage, resilience, and determination as they took on new challenges and outdoor activities at Hilltop Outdoor Centre.

During worship, we explored the theme Lost and Found, reflecting on stories from Luke’s Gospel. Together, we were reminded that no matter how lost we may feel, we can always be found.

We think this group of young people are truly amazing! A huge thank you to every staff member who gave their time to serve and make this weekend so special. All the glory goes to God! 🙏🤩

What if you could see your everyday life with fresh eyes? What if the stories of Jesus didn’t just inspire you, but transformed the way you navigate change, joy, suffering, and service?

Terrain is a year‑long journey of discipleship designed to help you do exactly that. Jesus entered the world fully human, giving us a blueprint for how to wrestle with life’s biggest questions, and for thousands of years people have been captivated enough to try and live the way he lived. Terrain invites you to change the view: to let Jesus speak to you through experience, encounter, and thoughtful questioning.

Over the course of a year, Terrainees explore the four Gospels in new and creative ways, discovering how these ancient texts speak into the paths we walk each day. You’ll engage in:

-Four View Weekends
-Monthly online catch‑ups
-One‑to‑one mentoring
-Personal study and reflection

Rather than taking you somewhere new, Terrain helps you to see your 'now' place differently, waking you up to the journey you’re already on and helping you notice the fullness of life that Jesus offers. If you’re curious, longing for depth, or simply ready to explore faith in a fresh way, we’d love you to join us for a year of adventure, exploration, reflection, and growth. You would be so welcome

A number of young adults from East of England have been involved in the past including: Ben Broad, Daniel Lloyd, Hannah Potter, Ewan Hall, Emma Rae, Isabel Broad, Samuel Grills, Naomi Symons, Bethany Frost, Cameron Rosser and Hannah Stewart.

We would love to have more East of Englanders involved in the next cohort of Terrain.
