🙏🏽❤️ Praying for our young people ❤️🙏

As our young people start at a new school or start new a school year or college year and begin this new chapter, I just want to take a moment to pray for them.

Lord, please watch over our young people. Keep them safe wherever they go and protect them from anything or anyone that could bring them harm.

Give them confidence when they feel unsure, strength when things get difficult, and wisdom to make the right choices. Surround them with good friends and positive people who will encourage them, support them and bring out the best in them.

Lord, help them to know that they are never alone. When they’re having a difficult day, remind them that You are with them. When they feel like they don’t fit in, remind them of who they are and how much they are loved.
Bless the teachers and support staff too. Give them patience, understanding and the wisdom to support every young person who walks through those school doors.
I pray that this new school will be a place where our young people can grow, learn, build good friendships and believe in themselves.

And Lord, wherever they go, go before them, walk beside them and keep Your hand upon them. 🙏🏽
I’m trusting You with them, Lord. ❤️

Tomorrow, Whatever the Result ❤️🙏

To every child and young person receiving their GCSE results tomorrow:

Whatever those results say, they do not define you.
You are not a grade.
You are not a number.
You are not a pass or a fail.

You are wonderfully made by God, deeply loved by Him, and your future is still full of possibility. ❤️

We pray that tomorrow brings you joy where you have hoped and worked hard, peace where things didn’t go as expected, and courage for whatever comes next.

Remember: God has a plan for you, and He is with you every step of the way. You may not know what the next chapter looks like, but you can trust the One who already does.

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” — Proverbs 3:5

Parents, carers, teachers, youth leaders and churches — let’s remind our young people tomorrow that their worth was never measured by their results.

Praying for every young person tonight. 🙏🏽❤️
Whatever the results, you are loved. You are valuable. You are enough. And this is only the beginning.

As a Church we are praying for all of the young people who are receiving their A-Level results tomorrow! May you be filled with peace, and know you are loved, valued and enough, regardless of what your results are. God always has a plan! 🥰

Today, we thought a bit about WASH Justice during our Sunday Worship. Not sure what we mean? See below and get involved. Catch up with us on YouTube () in a few days time.

What is WASH? And why do we keep talking about it?

WASH work is a handy little acronym we use to talk about the work made possible by our Toilet Twinners. But it is not a term that is well known by everyone. So, here’s a quick step-by-step to what WASH means:

🌊 Water - access to clean water is a game changer, whether it’s for drinking, washing or cleaning. And access to nearby water saves valuable time that would have been spent trekking (for hours) to the nearest water source, which might not even be clean.

🧽 Sanitation - sanitation is more than being clean, it’s about having a safe place to go to the toilet, and it’s about good waste management.

🪥 Hygiene - The things we do to keep ourselves clean and healthy. In ‘WASH work’, that means helping people practice healthy hygiene habits such as handwashing, or safely storing their water.

So, next time you see ‘WASH’ written down, you can be sure it’s either ‘Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene’... or someone telling you to go and have a shower 🚿
