Heritage Open Days

Step inside one of Warrington’s most historic chapels, explore our heritage, and discover the stories that shaped our community.

📖 Academy Service

📅 21st September at 3.00 pm
Join us for a special service led by renowned historian and philosopher Bill Cooke — an inspiring occasion not to be missed.

☕ Coffee Morning

📅 Every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month
Come along for refreshments, conversation, and a warm welcome.

Join us at for our next Sunday Service at Cairo Street Chapel on the 3rd of August. We are a welcoming, liberal, open and loving chapel. All are welcome regardless of any and all labels.

The service theme will be the importance of Family and Relationships.

I will also be blessing our newly revitalised garden and installing a memorial plaque by the magnolia tree to my late grandmother Aurea.

After the service we will be holding our third Soul Deep discussion session. In this session we will be tackling the ‘big questions’ namely Good, Evil, Suffering and the nature of God. There is no problem if you haven’t been at the earlier sessions as we will gently guide you through.

Cairo Street Chapel, the oldest dissenting Chapel in Warrington will be opening it's doors, with a Charter granted to worship by Charles II, will be taking part in the Heritage Open Days Festival on the 14th and 15th September from 10am until 4pm.

300 year of history in the Chapel surrounded by gardens considered by many to be the hidden gem in the centre of Warrington.
