Friday 12th June

Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
“Two are better than one because they have a good return for their labor. For if either of them falls, the one will lift up his companion. But woe to the one who falls when there is not another to lift him up”.

1 Thessalonians 5:11: ‘Therefore encourage one another and build each other up.’

Reflection:
With these verses in mind, who could you come alongside to encourage and mentor?
Who has God placed on your heart to support in prayer?

Hebrews 11:1

Faith in Action
11” Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see”.

Faith grasps things that are promised by God but are so far unfulfilled in our experience.

Dear Lord,
Even when we cannot see, we know that You are with us. Help us to remember that we walk by faith not by sight. Help us to cling to You because you are our guide. Lord, we trust You completely. Thank you for Your goodness and mercy towards us. Amen 🙏🏻

Tuesday 9th June
Joshua 1:9
“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous.
Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

God lovingly reminds us that true strength comes from His presence.
Even in moments of fear or uncertainty, He commands us to be courageous — not through our own might, but through His constant companionship.
His presence brings peace, His promise gives confidence, and His love casts out all fear.

Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You for reminding me to be strong and courageous.
When fear or doubt enters my heart, help me remember that You are always with me.
Fill me with Your peace, strengthen my faith, and guide me with Your Spirit every step of the way. In Jesus mighty name, Amen.

What a lively way to end the meeting today! God bless and hope everyone has a blessed week 🙏🏻

I sing because I'm happy;
I sing because I'm free;
His eye is on the sparrow
And I know He watches me.

How Can I Keep From Singing ?

[Verse 1]
There is an endless song
Echoes in my soul
I hear the music ring
And though the storms may come
I am holding on
To the rock I cling

[Chorus]
How can I keep from singing Your praise?
How can I ever say enough?
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name?
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart wanna sing

[Verse 2]
I will lift my eyes
In the darkest night
For I know my Savior lives
And I will walk with You
Knowing You'll see me through
And sing the songs You give

[Chorus]
How can I keep from singing Your praise?
How can I ever say enough?
How amazing is Your love
How can I keep from shouting Your name?
I know I am loved by the King
And it makes my heart wanna sing

Bow the knee

There are moments on our journey following the Lord
Where God illumines every step we take
There are times when circumstances make perfect sense to us
As we try to understand each move, He makes
When the path grows dim and our questions have no answers, turn to Him

Bow the knee
Trust the heart of your Father when the answer goes beyond what you can see
Bow the knee
Lift your eyes toward heaven and believe the One who holds eternity
And when you don't understand the purpose of His plan
In the presence of the King, bow the knee

There are days when clouds surround us, and the rain begins to fall
The cold and lonely winds won't cease to blow
And there seems to be no reason for the suffering we feel
We are tempted to believe God does not know
When the storms arise, don't forget, we live by faith and not by sight

Bow the knee
Trust the heart of your Father when the answer goes beyond what you can see
Bow the knee
Lift your eyes toward heaven and believe the One who holds eternity
And when you don't understand the purpose of His plan
In the presence of the King

Bow the knee
