🌍 Earth Day at Emmanuel 🌿
This Earth Day, we are reminded that “the earth is the Lord’s and everything in it” (Psalm 24:1).
Caring for God’s creation is central to our mission, rooted in the Fifth Mark of Mission: to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain the life of the earth.

At Emmanuel, we have a Creation Care policy that highlights our commitment to stewarding God’s world, including :
✅ Working towards Net Zero by 2030
✅ Aligning with the UN Sustainable Development Goals
✅ Embedding creation care in worship, formation, and learning
✅ Supporting Fairtrade
✅ Working towards an EcoCollege Award
✅ Encouraging sustainable travel
✅ Moving towards a Default Veg catering approach
✅ Making paperless working standard
✅ Reducing the environmental impact of our digital and ICT use
✅ Appointing a Creation Care Lead to champion this work

This Earth Day, we invite you to consider: What small act of care for creation can you take today?
