Pet Service - Sunday 27th September at 3pm in church

A much-loved, short and sweet service of thanksgiving for our beloved pets and all animals.
After the service we will enjoy a cuppa and cake outside on the church lawn.

If your furry friend is shy please feel free to bring a photo to show instead. All dogs on a lead please and other pets in a container.

A reminder that we are continuing to collect for Crawley Open House and there are particular heat-related items they urgently need:

Bottled water
Fans
Sunscreen
Sunhats

The collection box is at the back of church opposite the door, and the church is open 10 till 5 every day.

Remember to get one of these as an extra item with your grocery shopping, if you can - Thank you!

We gathered at Warnham Park this morning to celebrate both Lammastide and the Ruby Wedding Anniversary of Jonathan and Caroline Lucas.

It was pleasantly warm in the shade of the trees and we looked out onto a beautiful view with the park and deer herd as a backdrop.

The Vicar led us in praying for rain and a good harvest, and special prayers were said in thanksgiving for all that the Lucases give to the community.

A sheaf of wheat cut from Warnham fields and a fresh-baked loaf were brought forward as a Lammas offering - the name is from Anglo Saxon Hlaefmesse or 'Loaf Mass'.

There will be drinks and canapés served afterwards, as we celebrate the Ruby Wedding Anniversary of Jonathan and Caroline Lucas.
