Here is my Vigil candle, lit during the Maundy Thursday Feast of the Last Supper. May it burn as a light in our darkness, a fragile but powerful symbol of our commitment to Jesus on this most holy night.

Picked these up in the park today. These cones are from the same Cedar as the ones picked up 12 years ago and which are among the stones on our Lady Altar Lent display. Hope in beautiful seed from a magnificent tree. May we also be that seed, nurtured by God and Nature, waiting in faith and trust for resurgence and resurrection.

Corona virus ( if you actually contract it) does NOT require excessive visits to the lavatory. It's not currency. You can't eat this stuff, you can't write letters on it, you can't play the comb with it (remember good ol' Izal?), you can't burn it or use it as car fuel so for the love of God and humanity - just STOP IT.
