GODLY PLAY RETURNS!

We’re really looking forward to welcoming children and families back to Godly Play at Holy Trinity, Charlton next Sunday.

And we’re starting with a wonderful story…

Joseph the Dreamer and His Coat of Many Colours

A special coat, some extraordinary dreams, family jealousy and a journey that Joseph could never have imagined.

Godly Play gives children time to hear the story and then explore it in their own way through wondering, talking and creativity.

RIDE + STRIDE 2026 – ONE WEEK TO GO!

Next Saturday, 12th September, from 10am–6pm, churches across Oxfordshire will be taking part in Ride + Stride 2026.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to get out and about, visit some of our beautiful historic churches and raise much-needed funds at the same time.

You can walk, cycle or drive between participating churches, with the money you raise shared between our own church and the Oxfordshire Historic Churches Trust.

You can also get involved by becoming a Welcomer at either the Parish Church or Holy Trinity – greeting participants, offering drinks and signing sponsor forms as they arrive.

Sponsor forms are available in both churches or via the OHTC website.

AN EVENING OF INCREDIBLE MUSIC IN WANTAGE

We’re delighted to welcome The London Welsh Male Voice Choir to Wantage Parish Church for what promises to be a very special evening of music.

Saturday 12th September 2026

Parish Church of St Peter & St Paul, Wantage
Tickets £20

The internationally renowned choir will be performing in the beautiful setting of the Parish Church, with the concert raising funds in support of The Ray Collins Charitable Trust.

If you’ve never experienced the sound of a Welsh male voice choir live, this is a wonderful opportunity to do so right here in Wantage.

A beautiful church, a powerful choir and a fantastic cause.

Welcome back to our Parish Choir!

This Sunday, we’re delighted to welcome the Parish Choir back to their stalls following their summer break – and their very successful tour to Wells Cathedral.

If you’d like to hear some of the wonderful music they sang during the tour, there’s another opportunity coming up very soon!

Join us for an evening showcasing some of the choir’s favourite music from their recent Wells Cathedral tour.

Another Forest Church Adventure!

Last Monday, our Forest Church adventure took us beyond the churchyard and into Betjeman Park.

We shared the wonderful story of Noah’s Ark and then got creative, making our very own little arks from natural materials.

Of course, an ark needs water… so it was off to the brook to put our creations to the test!

Would they float? Would they stay together? And just how far could they travel downstream? There was only one way to find out!

It was a wonderful afternoon of storytelling, creating, exploring and enjoying God’s creation together — and judging by these photos, there was plenty of fun along the way!

Thank you to everyone who joined us.

And our summer adventure continues…
