Dog Waste.

Although we will be coming to the end of the sporting calendar soon, may I remind dog owners/walkers of their responsibility to pick up after their dogs, especially where young children play sports and have a kickabout.

The Council is always receiving reports of our young children falling in dog waste on the Recreation Ground and Wasbrough Field and even on the new sports pitch on the Wellington Gate development.

Like every Easter, we’ll empty your bins on a different day because of the public holidays.
Remember, all collections begin at 6am, so make sure you put your bins out the night before.

Thanks to everyone who has bought a new garden waste permit.
If you’ve not already done so, please remove your old yellow permit from your brown bin and stick your new pink permit in its place on the lid. If you’re not able to remove your old permit, just stick your new one over it.
If you still need to purchase a new permit, just visit https://orlo.uk/GardenWastePermit_eRXTv
