Hersham Baptist Church We are a group of people who love God, love others, and follow Jesus. At HBC we live to follow Jesus by loving God and loving others.

We think Jesus is the best thing that has happened to the world and to us and we love sharing his love and hope with others. You can join us for worship on Sundays at 10am. There are children's groups running during the service. If you're looking for something to do during the week, we have regular life groups where we read the Bible, pray together and share our lives. We also run groups for families each week. You can find out more by going to our website.

"The Lord will open the heavens, the storehouse of his bounty, to send rain on your land in season."
Deuteronomy 28:12

After a few days of sunshine, the rain has returned to water the gardens, fill the rivers and refresh the earth.

Whether we are enjoying the warmth of the sun or listening to the rain on the window, both remind us of God's provision and faithfulness. He is present in every season, caring for His creation and sustaining us day by day.

We hope you find a moment today to pause, look up, and thank God for His many blessings.

What does it mean to live as children of God?

On Sunday, Alan continued our journey through Romans 8:12–17, exploring what it means to be led by the Spirit and welcomed into God's family.

As part of the service, we enjoyed a fun and thought-provoking activity involving ping-pong balls, helping us reflect on how our relationship with God changes when we draw closer to Him. Sometimes the simplest illustrations can leave the biggest impression.

If you missed the service, or would like to listen again, you can catch up with Alan's sermon below.

We hope it encourages and challenges you as you continue your walk with Christ.

Blessings,

“The sun rises, and the sun sets, and hurries back to where it rises.”
Ecclesiastes 1:5

A reminder that even when life feels busy, uncertain or repetitive, God remains constant through it all.

Every sunrise is another reminder of His faithfulness.

Did you miss yesterday’s service at Hersham Baptist Church?

Yesterday we celebrated Pentecost, the birth of the Church, and the gift of the Holy Spirit.

It was a slightly quieter Sunday with the Bank Holiday weekend, and we hope many of you were able to enjoy some time to rest and recharge.

If you weren’t able to join us, you can catch up on yesterday’s sermon, along with many other messages and church content, over on our YouTube channel.

Come to church tomorrow.

Whether your week has been busy, difficult, joyful, exhausting or somewhere in between, you are welcome here.

You do not need to have everything together before walking through the doors. Church is a place to find community, encouragement, hope and space to pause.

We would love to see you tomorrow morning at Hersham Baptist Church.

Everyone is welcome.
