🎉 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝗺𝘂𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 🎉

On Sunday 6 September, LifeSpring Walsall turns ONE, and when we look back over our first year, our hearts are full.

What began as a step of faith has become a growing family of people learning to follow Jesus together, serve one another and make Him known across Walsall. We have seen God do far more than we could ever imagine, plan or take credit for. All the glory belongs to Him.

❤️ One church. One vision.
Different ages, backgrounds and stories, gathered around Jesus with one desire: to see people saved, disciples made and Walsall impacted by the Gospel.

👥 People, not numbers.
Growth matters, but behind every number is a name. Behind every name is a story. Every new face, every family, every child, every young person and every person finding somewhere to belong matters deeply to God, and therefore matters to us.

🙌 Lives transformed.
We have celebrated salvations. We have watched people take courageous steps of faith. We have witnessed baptisms, answered prayer and moments where Jesus has met people in ways only He could.

🔥 Worship that touches heaven.
There have been Sundays when the room has seemed to disappear and all that mattered was Jesus. Moments of joy, surrender, reverence and the unmistakable presence of God as His people worshipped together.

🌍 A community on mission.
Church was never meant to stay inside four walls. This year has taken us into our community - praying, serving, sharing Jesus, building relationships and loving Walsall in practical ways, and we are only getting started.

As we celebrate our first birthday, we do so humbly and gratefully. We honour every person who has prayed, served, given, invited somebody, carried something, turned up early, stayed late or simply said yes when God asked them to.

But above everything else:

THANK YOU, JESUS.

You have been faithful.
You have built Your church.
You have changed lives, and whatever the next year holds, we want it all to be for Your glory.

🙏 𝗢𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 | 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗹𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗵𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀

📖 “Now, my God, may Your eyes be open and Your ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.” - 2 Chronicles 6:40

Solomon prayed these words as he dedicated the temple to God. His desire was simple but profound: that this would be a place where people could call upon the Lord and know that He sees, He hears and He responds.

That same confidence should shape the way we pray.

When God’s people come together in prayer, we are not simply sharing needs or filling time with words. We are turning our hearts towards the living God, believing that He is attentive to the cries of His people and that prayer can change situations, families, communities and lives.

As we gather for online prayer, we will be praying for one another, for families, for children and young people, for those who need healing, for people who need salvation, for the Church, and for our town of Walsall.

We want to see people come to Jesus. We want to see prodigals return. We want to see homes restored, bodies healed, faith strengthened and the Gospel advance across our communities.

And we pray because we believe God is listening.

What are you believing God for? Who has He placed on your heart to pray for? What could happen in Walsall if the Church truly gave itself to prayer?

Come and pray with us. Bring your faith. Bring the names of people you are believing for. Bring the situations that need God’s intervention.

🙏 Our God’s eyes are open. His ears are attentive. Let us pray.

🎉 𝗟𝗼𝗼𝗸 𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗱𝗼𝗻𝗲.

All this week, LifeSpring Church Walsall is in celebration mode as we count down to our 1-year anniversary this Sunday, 6 September, and above everything else, our hearts are full of gratitude to God.

What a year it has been.

We have seen people give their lives to Jesus, both within the church and out on the streets of Walsall. We have celebrated baptisms, heard testimonies of God moving powerfully in people’s lives and witnessed answers to prayer. We have seen people healed, restored, encouraged and strengthened in their walk with Christ.

We have watched a church family grow.

Children and families have found a home. Young people have been given opportunities to grow, serve and discover more of who God has called them to be. New friendships have formed. People who were looking for a church have put down roots. Others have walked through the doors simply looking for answers and encountered the presence of God.

We have prayed together. Worshipped together. Served together. Reached out into our community together. Laughed together, cried together and stood with one another through the realities of life, and through it all, Jesus has remained at the centre.

None of this is about building a name for ourselves. None of the glory belongs to us. It belongs to God.

The Lord planted this church. The Lord has sustained it. The Lord has brought the people. The Lord has saved. The Lord has healed. The Lord has provided. The Lord has opened doors, and we believe He is only getting started.

📖 “The Lord has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” — Psalm 126:3

So this week, we celebrate loudly, gratefully and expectantly.

🙌 Glory to God for every life changed.
❤️ Thank You, Jesus, for every person who has become part of this story.
🎉 Happy 1st Birthday, LifeSpring Walsall!

We give glory to God for another packed out Sunday service, and a phenomenal time in our Father’s presence.

God is really doing something across Walsall right now, and it’s an honour for LifeSpring Church Walsall to play its part in God’s Kingdom story in this wonderful town.

Well wow, what a Holy Spirit-filled morning with the father of LifeSpring Ministries, Tony Wastall

The presence of God in praise and worship was phenomenal, and Tony preached a no nonsense message on true, biblical and Godly prosperity.

Prosperity has become a dirty word in the Christian world, but Tony’s message cuts right through the noise of those that criticise prosperity and those that manipulate it for their own personal gain.

✝️ 𝗜𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲, 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂.

Whatever your story looks like, whatever you have done, however far from God you feel, the Gospel still carries the same invitation: turn to Jesus.

You do not need to clean your life up before coming to Him. You need a Saviour.

Jesus came for sinners. He went to the cross carrying the punishment our sin deserved, rose again and opened the way for us to be forgiven, reconciled to God and given a completely new life.

That is why we say Jesus changes lives.

We have seen people walk into church carrying years of hurt, regret, addiction, confusion and brokenness, then begin to discover that the grace of God is greater than the life they have lived.

But this is not only somebody else’s testimony. Jesus is calling you too.

Maybe you have never followed Him. Maybe you once did and have wandered away. Maybe you know plenty about Christianity but have never actually surrendered your life to Christ.

Do not keep putting Him off.

Jesus said, “Repent and believe the good news!” Repentance means turning from sin and turning towards God. Faith means trusting Jesus with your life and following Him as Lord.

If something in you knows it is time to find out who Jesus really is, come and join us at LifeSpring Walsall.

You can walk through the door without knowing anyone. You can come with questions. You can come having never opened a Bible before. What matters is that you come willing to discover Jesus for yourself.

✝️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗵𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮 𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗯 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀. 𝗜𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀.

The Church exists to worship God, proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, care for people, serve communities, stand for truth, pray for our nation and carry the hope of Jesus into places where people are hurting, searching and asking whether there is more to life than what they can see.

Britain needs churches that are alive with the presence of God. Walsall needs Christians who will love their neighbours, serve their communities, pray for their town and refuse to keep the Gospel behind four walls.

And the invitation is open to everyone.

If you are a Christian, come and grow in Christ.

If you are a Muslim, Sikh or Hindu, you are welcome to come.

If you follow another faith, believe in another god, consider yourself spiritual but not religious, are an atheist, agnostic, sceptic or simply unsure what you believe, you are welcome to come too.

You do not have to pretend to agree with us before you walk through the door. Come and hear the Word of God. Come and see people worship Jesus. Come and experience Christian community. Come with your questions. Come and witness for yourself what we believe is the power and presence of the living God.

We will not hide what we believe.

Jesus said, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” — John 14:6

We believe Jesus Christ is Lord. We believe He died for our sins, rose from the grave and offers forgiveness and eternal life to everyone who repents and believes. We believe He is building His Church, preparing His Bride and that He will return.

That is why this invitation matters so much to us.

We do not simply want people in Walsall to attend a Sunday service. We want people to know Jesus, be reconciled to God, walk with Him and be on the right side of eternity.

Whatever your background, nationality, culture, religion or story, there is an invitation before you: come and discover Jesus for yourself.

🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗧𝗼𝗻𝘆 𝗪𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗟𝗶𝗳𝗲𝗦𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗹.

Tony is the Senior Pastor of LifeSpring Wolverhampton and Apostle of LifeSpring Ministries, and this Sunday he’ll be with us as we gather to worship Jesus, pray together and hear the Word of God.

For many of us, Tony has played a significant part in the wider LifeSpring story and in helping shape the vision to win the lost, train leaders and plant churches. We’re really looking forward to having him with us at Walsall and to receiving what God has placed on his heart for the church.

Our Community Coffee Morning is back this Thursday at Manor Farm Bistro, and everyone is welcome.

It’s simply a chance to get out of the house, meet people from the local area, catch up over a coffee or tea and enjoy some good conversation in a relaxed setting.

You might already know a few faces, you might come with a friend or neighbour, or you might walk in not knowing anyone at all. However you come, we’d love to see you.

There’s no need to stay for the whole morning either. Drop in for twenty minutes, stay for a cuppa or settle in for the full session.

🙏 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗲𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺 𝗶𝘀 𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 — 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝘀.

📖 “Look to the LORD and his strength; seek his face always.” — 1 Chronicles 16:11

There is a difference between simply bringing God our needs and truly seeking His face.

Prayer is where we turn our attention back to Him, where we stop relying on our own strength and begin drawing again from His. It is where we bring the things weighing on us, but also where we make room to hear His voice, know His heart and remember that we were never meant to carry life alone.

That is why we gather to pray.

We will be praying for one another, for our families, for healing, breakthrough and salvation, and for God to move powerfully across Walsall. We want to be a church that does more than talk about what needs to change; we want to seek God together and believe Him for it.
