We rejoice, 3 salvation prayers on the streets of Walsall today 🙌🙌🙌

A wet but blessed time saw Kayleigh, a homeless woman, give her life to Jesus, and she was overjoyed to be seen as righteous in God’s eyes.

There were plenty of seeds sown too, including meaningful conversations with our Muslim brothers and sisters and prayers of healing for staff in Primark.

Hearts = full.

Thank you Lord for your faithful servants and for using LifeSpring Church Walsall for the glory of Your Kingdom.

For more than 2,000 years, people have argued about who Jesus is. Teacher. Prophet. Revolutionary. Myth. Son of God.

But Jesus made claims about Himself that do not leave much room for indifference. He said He came to seek and save the lost. He offered forgiveness to people others had written off. He gave hope to the broken, challenged the religious, welcomed the outsider, and ultimately gave His life for us.

There are people at LifeSpring Walsall who can tell you that Jesus is more than a figure from history because they have experienced His forgiveness, His love and His power in their own lives.

For those of us who already know Him, Sunday is another opportunity to worship Him, hear His Word and grow together.

If you’re still making your mind up about Jesus, this Sunday could be a good place to continue the conversation.

Communion is one of the simplest things Christians do: we take bread and we take the cup.

But what they represent is enormous.

The bread points to the body of Jesus, given for us. The cup points to His blood, shed for the forgiveness of sin. Together, they take us back to the cross and remind us that Christianity begins with what Jesus has done, not with what we can do for ourselves.

📖 “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.” — 1 Corinthians 11:24

For those who follow Jesus, Communion is a moment to remember, give thanks and examine our hearts again.

And if you are still working out what you believe, Sunday gives you the opportunity to hear why the death and resurrection of Jesus still matter to millions of people today — and what they could mean for you personally.

We’ll worship, hear the Word of God and share Communion together as we put Jesus back at the centre.

The cross was not the end of Jesus’ story. It could be the beginning of yours.

War. Political tension. Nations rising against nations. Leaders making decisions that affect millions. Fear about what comes next. Questions about whether history is heading anywhere at all.

The closing chapters of Daniel were written into a world that knew all about unstable kingdoms, powerful rulers and uncertainty about the future, which is exactly why they still speak so powerfully today.

This Sunday, Lead Pastor Dan Waldron brings our Staying Faithful in Babylon: The Life of Daniel series to its conclusion as Daniel receives an extraordinary vision of a man, hears warnings concerning the kings of the north and south, and is shown things still to come.

Some of Daniel’s final chapters are difficult. They are full of conflict, prophecy and questions about the end times. But underneath it all is something incredibly important:

History is not out of control. God is still on the throne.

If you have ever looked at the news and wondered where all of this is going, perhaps the Bible deserves a closer look.

If you already follow Jesus, come ready to be strengthened as we finish this remarkable journey through Daniel together.

\🙏 When we pray, we are drawing near to a God who is already near to us.

Deuteronomy 4:7 asks an extraordinary question:

📖 “What other nation is so great as to have their gods near them the way the LORD our God is near us whenever we pray to him?”

Think about that.

The God who created heaven and earth invites us to speak to Him. We can bring Him our families, our fears, the people we love, the situations we cannot change and the things we are still believing Him for.

And He is near.

That is why prayer matters so deeply to us at LifeSpring Walsall. This Wednesday evening we’ll gather online to pray for one another, for our communities, for healing and breakthrough, and for people across Walsall to encounter Jesus and know Him for themselves.

📖 𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗯𝘀 𝟯:𝟱

Here, the Word of God says:

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.”

Trusting God becomes real when we do not have all the answers.

It is easy to trust what we can see, explain or control. Proverbs reminds us that faith goes deeper than that. God sees what we cannot see, knows what we do not know and remains faithful even when the way ahead does not make sense to us.

To trust Him with all your heart means not keeping part of your life back. It means placing the decision, the worry, the future and the unanswered question into His hands and choosing to believe that He knows the way.

Reflect on this: Where are you relying more on your own understanding than on God? What are you finding difficult to trust Him with? What would it look like to place that situation fully into His hands today?

Sunday Service Snapshot 📸

What a blessed and bumper Harvest Festival we enjoyed at LifeSpring Walsall.

The church gave so generously, bringing food ready to be donated to Walsall Foodbank, and it was brilliant to see that generosity expressed in such a practical way for people across our town.

There was also such a sweet and refreshing sense of the Holy Spirit’s presence as we worshipped together, prayed and gathered around the Word of God.

Lead Pastor Laura Waldron continued our series through the life of Daniel, reminding us again how much this remarkable book still speaks into the world we are living in today.

Here are just a few snapshots from the morning.
