Shree Ram Mandir - Walsall Shree Ram Mandir - Walsall is a Hindu Mandir (temple), and Community Centre- A place of worship for the local Hindu community members.

The Community Centre is known as Gujarati Hindu Social & Cultural Centre- provides a base for local groups/activities. Shree Ram Mandir (Walsall) is a Hindu temple (mandir) and community Centre serving the needs of the Hindu Community in the Walsall and surrounding area. It was purpose-built, and we officially opened with a ‘pran pratistha’ installing the deities of Ram Darbar – (Lord Ram, Sita, L

axman & Hanumanji), Shiv Pariwaar- Lord Shiva (Shiva Lingham), Parvati & Lord Ganesh), Maa, Santoshi Maa, Jalaram Bapa, & Hanumanji on 25-27th May 1991. We subsequently installed the deities of Radha Krishna, Amba (Durga), & Vishwakarma dada in May 1994. We celebrate all Hindu festivals throughout the year. See our calendar for details. We are a registered charity no.514652. Morning Aarti is performed at 8.00 am. Afternoon ‘thaal’ is offered at 12.00 noon. Evening aarti is performed at 7.00pm. The Community Centre is open every evening 6.45 to 8.30pm on most days. We also hire out the community hall for weddings. Please contact us during our opening hours for further details. We offer a conference room for meetings. Details of the rates and availability are available from our treasurer.

🌞મકરસંક્રાંતિ🌞
સં ૨૦૮૨ પૌષ વદ એકાદશી બુધવાર તા ૧૪/૧/૨૬ સૂર્યનારાયણ બપોરે ૧૫/૦૬ મીનીટે મકર રાશિમાં પ્રવેશ કરશે.
*રાશિ પ્રમાણે દાન ની વિગત*
*મેષ, સિંહ,ધન રાશિના જાતકો* ને કાળી વસ્તુ ઓ કાળુ કાપડ કાળા તલ સ્ટીલનુ વાસણ ઈત્યાદિ.
*વૃષભ, કન્યા, કુંભ રાશિના જાતકો* ને લાલ વસ્ત્ર ઘઉં ગોળ લાલ તલ અને ત્રાબા ના પાત્ર નુ દાન કરવું.
*કર્ક,તુલા,મીન રાશિના જાતકો* ને સફેદ વસ્ત્ર ધી સાકર સફેદ તલ ચાંદી અને રંગબેરંગી કપડા વસ્ત્ર દાન કરવું.
*મિથુન વૃશ્ચિક,મકર રાશિના જાતકો* ને પીળુ વસ્ત્ર ચણાદાળ પીત્તળ નુ વાસણ વગેરે દાન કરવું.
સંક્રાંતિ પુણ્ય કાળ સાંજે ૩ અને ૦૬ મીનીટ થી સાંજે ૬/૩૬ સુધી છે...
સંક્રાંતિ ના દિવસે છ પ્રકારે તલ નો ઉપયોગ કરવો,
તલ નાખી જલથી સ્નાન,તલ ના તેલ થી શરીરમાં લેપન,તલ નુ દાન કરવું તલનો અગ્નિ માં હોમ કરવો,તલની વાનગી ખાવી અને તલ નાખેલ જલ પીવુ.......... સંક્રાંતિ ના દિવસે કરેલ જરૂરીયાત મંદ લોકો ને બ્રાહ્મણો ને કરેલ દાન ( અક્ષય) ગણાય છે......તે સમયે કરેલુ દાન નો ક્યારેય ક્ષય નથી થતું.......શ્રી શુભં ભવતુ 🙏 જયસોમનાથ 🙏

On Monday, 16th December 2024, the day of Maha Ardra Nakshatra in the month of Margashirsha is highly significant. On this auspicious day, Lord Shiva manifested in the form of a Lingam in front of Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu. This was the first day when Lord Brahma and Lord Vishnu worshipped the Lingam, marking the beginning of the worship of Lord Shiva in this form.

This time, this Nakshatra falls on Monday, 16th December 2024. Therefore, everyone should perform Shiva Puja, visit the temple for Shiva’s darshan, and offer their prayers. The darshan of Shivling on this day is considered extremely important. If possible, perform a complete Shiva Puja, offer Aarti, present prasad to Mahadev, If you cannot go to the temple, you can light lamps at home as well. Lighting lamps on this day holds great significance. Worshipping the Shivling on this day grants the equivalent merit of performing 100 Mahashivratri pujas.

Therefore, everyone should ensure to have Shiva’s darshan and perform puja on this day. Spread awareness about the significance of this Maha Ardra Nakshatra so more people can benefit. The more people you inform, the greater blessings you will receive. Har Har Mahadev!
