The Community Centre is known as Gujarati Hindu Social & Cultural Centre- provides a base for local groups/activities. Shree Ram Mandir (Walsall) is a Hindu temple (mandir) and community Centre serving the needs of the Hindu Community in the Walsall and surrounding area. It was purpose-built, and we officially opened with a ‘pran pratistha’ installing the deities of Ram Darbar – (Lord Ram, Sita, L

axman & Hanumanji), Shiv Pariwaar- Lord Shiva (Shiva Lingham), Parvati & Lord Ganesh), Maa, Santoshi Maa, Jalaram Bapa, & Hanumanji on 25-27th May 1991. We subsequently installed the deities of Radha Krishna, Amba (Durga), & Vishwakarma dada in May 1994. We celebrate all Hindu festivals throughout the year. See our calendar for details. We are a registered charity no.514652. Morning Aarti is performed at 8.00 am. Afternoon ‘thaal’ is offered at 12.00 noon. Evening aarti is performed at 7.00pm. The Community Centre is open every evening 6.45 to 8.30pm on most days. We also hire out the community hall for weddings. Please contact us during our opening hours for further details. We offer a conference room for meetings. Details of the rates and availability are available from our treasurer.
