Signs for Worship

Signs for Worship The aim of Signs for Worship is to bring together both Deaf and hearing people through the medium of Groups meet at Tamworth, Walsall, Sedgley and Long Eaton.

The aim of the group is to bring together both Deaf and hearing people through the medium of British Sign Language in to a closer relationship with God and each other, as in the words of Psalm 133, How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity. All are welcome, no matter what level of signing you have, be that none all the way through to native user. All meetings are in both

BSL and English and all are welcome to participate in
either or both languages. Many of our members have come to their first meeting without knowing any BSL, and have left feeling elated at the fact that they have felt included and not isolated. At Signs for Worship we intend to make the biblical belief of unity a reality between the two communities of Deaf and hearing. Signs for Worship prides itself on being non-denominational but decidedly Christian, and is totally inclusive, regardless of sexuality, gender or background. We worship God together, and no matter what your belief, denomination or lack thereof you will be made to feel entirely welcome. We offer a safe space to ‘be’, and we look forward to seeing you.
