📅 A PACKED WEEKEND COMING UP AT KEYSTONE!

We’ve got a full weekend coming up on Saturday 12th & Sunday 13th September, so get the dates in your diary! 💙

📍 SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER | WALSALL OUTREACH DAY | 10:30AM–4PM

Walsall is the community where Keystone is planted, and we want to be a church that is visible in our town — out in our community, sharing Jesus, praying for people and letting people know that we are here and they are welcome.

We’d love as many of our church family as possible to join us for all or part of the day as we share Jesus, pray for people and bring hope to Walsall.

🍽️ SATURDAY 12 SEPTEMBER | FOOD & FELLOWSHIP & WORSHIP | 5PM–7PM

After outreach, we’re back at Keystone for an evening of food, games, fellowship and worship, organised by members of our congregation who are raising funds for their second-year Bible college mission trip.

Come along, enjoy the evening together and support them as they prepare to go out on mission!

❤️ SUNDAY 13 SEPTEMBER | HEALING UNIVERSITY | 3PM–5PM

Then on Sunday we’re launching Healing University!

Our normal Sunday service finishes at 1pm, we’ll have lunch together at church, and Healing University will begin at 3pm.

This is a FREE course and is open to everyone, using the Charis Healing University curriculum to help you understand what God’s Word says about healing, receive healing personally and become equipped to help others receive too.

Whether healing is completely new to you or you want to grow deeper in your understanding, you are welcome.

Three opportunities to get involved over one weekend — reach our community, support mission and be equipped in the Word.

If you’re aged 12–18, come along from 6:00–7:30pm for real conversation, food, friends and worship.

You don’t need to already come to Keystone, and you don’t need to know anyone before you arrive. Just come as you are.

Having an emotion doesn’t mean that emotion gets to tell you who you are.

You can say, “That frightened me,” without believing you are a fearful person. You can feel rejected without believing that you are rejected.

Jesus had emotions too. In Gethsemane He was honest about what He felt, but His feelings didn’t dictate His obedience.

We don’t have to deny our emotions, and we don’t have to be controlled by them. Who we are is established in Christ.

Faith doesn’t mean pretending that you never struggle, never feel anything or never have a difficult day.

You can know who you are in Christ and still be honest about what you’re experiencing. Saying that something is difficult doesn’t change the truth of God’s Word or mean that you have no faith.

There’s a difference between standing on what God says and pretending because we think Christians are supposed to have everything together.

Faith doesn’t require us to fake it. We can be real and still stand firmly on the truth.

God wants us to look like Jesus, but He never asked us to become clones of one another.

Your personality, gifts, interests and the things that make you uniquely you aren’t things you need to erase when you become a Christian.

Don’t model yourself on another believer or manufacture the person you think a Christian is supposed to be. Renew the things that don’t line up with Christ,but stop apologising for the person God created you to be.

There are people who need what God has put inside you.
