One of the things Duane reminded us is that salvation isn't simply about getting to heaven.

God has left each of us here for a purpose.

You are not here by accident.
You are not forgotten.
You are not without value.

God has a plan for your life and good works prepared for you to walk in.

"For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works..." Ephesians 2:10

What a special morning we had together on Sunday ❤️

As we gathered to worship, pray and spend time together as a church family, we were blessed to have Charlie & Jill LeBlanc with us leading worship and ministry.

For over 40 years they have faithfully served the body of Christ around the world, and it was a real blessing to have them with us again at Keystone.

Sunday was also an opportunity to celebrate the Charis students from our church family who have recently graduated or been promoted into the next year of study. Across Years 1, 2 and 3, we had 26 students reach this milestone, and we loved being able to recognise and celebrate those who were with us.

Looking around the room on Sunday, from those graduating and being promoted through Charis, to those worshipping together, praying together and serving behind the scenes, it was impossible not to see the faithfulness of God at work in people's lives.

People growing.

People being discipled.

People discovering who they are in Christ.

People worshipping, serving and walking this journey together.

We're thankful for Charlie & Jill, but we're also thankful for every person who calls Keystone home and for all that God is doing in and through our church family.

"How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" Psalm 133:1

Another theme that ran throughout Duane Sheriff's message was the importance of truth.

The world offers endless opinions, but freedom is found in God's truth.

The truth about who God is.
The truth about what Jesus has done.
The truth about who we are in Christ.

When we know the truth and choose to believe it, it changes everything.

"And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." John 8:32

Before Grace & Faith, we had the privilege of welcoming Duane Sheriff to Keystone Church.

This was one of his statements that really stood out:

"You don't have to go to church. You get to go to church."

Church isn't a burden or an obligation. It is God's design for growth, truth, encouragement and community.

When we understand what the church really is, gathering together becomes a privilege rather than a duty.

"And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together..." Hebrews 10:24-25
