We meet in the Lecture Theatre, upstairs in Burnside College, each Sunday at 10.30am and we would love you to join us!

Information and news about Hope Church, a Christian church in the Anglican Mission in England (AMiE)

"Jesus is the reason for the hope we have"

We meet on Sunday mornings at 10.30am (see our "About" section for more details) We typically start with some singing and prayers (all the words will be on the screen) and there will be a family talk before the children leave for their own group time. We then read part of the Bible together and one of our preaching team helps us understand it before we finish with more singing. Refreshments are served afterwards so that we can chat and get to know one another better.

Our regular Sunday service on 4th October will include our Harvest celebration, where we use the traditional time of year to remember how dependent we are on God for everything we need.

At this time we also think of those who are in greater need, so our service will include prayers for the hungry and needy.

Any cash gifts received on that morning will be donated to the Anglican International Development Agriculture Project, supporting sustainable farming projects in South Sudan.

The school summer holidays have now begun and our Baby and Toddler Group will not be meeting at Segedunum until September.

Instead, the team will once again be meeting up every Tuesday morning throughout the summer at the playground in Richardson Dees park with anyone who wants to join us for a catch-up and a chat.

Bring your friends/family/older children along as well!

If you know anyone who's been thinking about bringing their little one along to the group, this would be a great way for them to get to know us before they start in September.

This will be in the usual time and place - Segedunum at 10.30am.

CORRECTION -
The Toddler group has one more session at Segedunum before the summer, this will be the Teddy Bears Picnic next Tuesday 14th July at 10.30am (see the separate post on our pages).

The post that went out yesterday saying that the sessions are over for the summer was due to a scheduling error, it's been deleted now but if you see it anywhere, please ignore it!

We all had a great time at the Easter gardens morning last week, and we hope you did too! Can you spot your garden here? Has it grown and blossomed in the beautiful sunshine we've had this week?
