Thank you on behalf of St Mary's Church Wallingford to the Walled Gardens of Wallingford committee for their donation following their fabulous garden tour in June. The money will be put to very good use as we continue fundraising for our Eco-Heating project which will result in us being net carbon zero when complete.

St Mary’s is working to reduce its carbon footprint, so we are replacing our old gas boiler with a more environmentally friendly option.

The peal attempt was successful today with 5,039 unique sequences, rung on all 10 bells! What a pleasure it was to hear. 👏 👏 👏 Well done to the band of home ringers and visitors...and Thank you!!

The bells! You may hear the bells of St Mary's ringing out this morning from 10 am until just after 1 pm. The bell ringers will be attempting a peal as we prepare to welcome our new Team Vicar, Fr Andreas Wenzel. We hope you enjoy the bells and join us in welcoming Fr Andreas to Wallingford, Crowmarsh Gifford & Brightwell cm Sotwell.

Our lovely choir is on tour, singing the services this weekend at Rochester Cathedral. Thanks to the ‘groupies’ who travelled to support them today.

Gavin Wood & Simon Millsop will be walking the 23 miles from St Mary's Church Wallingford to Christ Church Cathedral Oxford on Sat 22 August. The reason for this "mad" idea is to raise money for St Mary's eco-heating project and they will be grateful for any sponsorship along the way. To make a donation, please click on the link below.
