It was great to see everyone at café fellowship this evening, we had a lovely time of sharing and thinking about the story of Jonah and how God has chosen us and loved us even unto death on a cross .... Let’s be continuing the rest of the month as we finished this evening praying in love for one another!

Cafe fellowship is a gathering of Christians who meet monthly from all different backgrounds and walks of life. The aim is simply to come together to worship God and encourage one another.

As a few of us have been praying more about the idea we would love to be able to have a weekly ‘thought of the week’ to encourage one another throughout the month. The idea is a weekly Facebook post and it to be printed and left in the cafe for anyone to read.

If you would like to share please get in touch. It might be a story, a poem, a verse that has been on your heart. (The aim is for a different person to share something each week)

Last night we were hearing about Pauls journey he was on, and the Armour of God he said to prepare ourselves with.

Belt of truth - Knowing what Jesus has done for us
Breastplate of righteousness - Knowing who we are because of what he has done for us
Shield of faith- Trusting in God against the Enemy
Shoes of readiness to share the Gospel
The sword which is the word of God (The Bible and his son)

So in the face of whatever is happening around us and whatever happens let’s stand firm in the face of the enemy in this world.
