supply information and education for people interested in Paganism,paranormal,Fortean and related Wakefield Pagan Moot was founded in October 1988 by Steve Jones and the late Rona Peace Waters.Rona dropped out after the first moot but Steve has been running it ever since.The moot has been held in 6 pubs over the years, of which 3 were haunted and 3 are now either demolished or shut.The current one

is the site of a 19th century brewery.2 Conferences have been held in 2013 and 2014, with a 3rd in November 2019 and thousands have passed through over the years.
