West Wakefield Methodist Church Located between Thornes and Lupset, West Wakefield Methodist Church hosts Sunday services at 10.00am Two services are held on a Sunday at 10.00am and 6.00pm.

West Wakefield Methodist Church hosts a range of activities throughout the week, both in the church and by members of the local community. The Junior Church meets at the same time as the Sunday morning service, holding their own worship and activities and joining with the main church at the end of the service. The Junior Church is for children and young people of all ages. Throughout the week the

Church hosts: Bible Study, Ladies' Group, Women's Fellowship, Luncheon Clubs, Messy Church, a Monthly Saturday Coffee Morning and more. A range of community organisations meet at the Church including: Weight Watchers, Jiggle and Jive (For under 5s) Choirs, Arts and Crafts and is also the base for a number of charities and small businesses. A number of Uniformed Organisations use the Churches' facilities including: Rainbows, Brownies, Guides, Rangers, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

The children enjoyed crafts including sewing, bookmarks, pizza making and colouring and then listening to Rev. Kim reminding us all of the Easter story!
