Workshop: Make, Create, Play! Mixed Media Papercraft - Interactive Book | Saturday 19th September | 10am - 12:30pm | £35pp

Sarah Gray is a mixed media artist and tutor with a playful approach to the creative process. She typically works with stencils, stamps, collage and stitch to create colourful textures and layers on her projects and loves to share her passion for creative play through online and in person workshops.

In this 2.5hour session we will be making a simple, interactive book structure from one piece of 12” card and filling it with our own hand decorated papers. Suitable for beginners through to confident papercrafters you will leave with a small piece of handmade art that has the wow factor!

This activity is suitable for ages 10+. Maximum of 12 people per workshop.

We have a couple of places left for our Silver Stacking Ring Workshop on Saturday. Details below!

Saturday 6th June 2026 | 10am - 1pm | £60
Discover the joy of working with silver as you design and make your own beautiful stacking rings.

Learn key jewellery-making techniques including soldering, texturing, forming, and stamping – and take home 2–3 unique rings you’ve crafted yourself. If time permits, you may develop your rings further by adding textured discs or concave domes.
All tools and materials are provided, and no experience is necessary.

It’s a relaxed, hands-on workshop that makes a wonderful gift – or a fun, creative way to spend time with friends and family.

Been before? Come along and add to your stack!
This course is suitable for beginners over the age of 16.

Workshop: Fused Glass - Large Floral Wave | Wednesday 3rd June | 6pm - 8pm | £75pp

Unleash your inner crafter!

Join us for a fun and creative event where you can create your very own fused glass large floral wave using shaped glass pieces. This event is perfect for unleashing your artistic side and learning the art of glass fusion. Claire Myers of Cherry Tree Glass, an experienced glass fuser, will guide you through the process of selecting colourful glass pieces and arranging them together to create a stunning wave. No cutting or grinding involved!

The workshop includes all materials and refreshments and no previous experience is needed. You will create one piece measuring approximately 24x9cm. You will work on a flat piece of glass and the curved wave effect will be created by firing the piece on a shaped mould.

Following the session your work will be taken away to be fired and you can collect from Lakeside Creative Arts approximately two weeks later.

Maximum of 10 people per workshop and over 18's only please.
